I did not read the fine print on everything in World of Warcraft when i signed up... lets be real here who is going to sit there after installing and getting patches and looking at what you have to do to sign on to look at every single detail of what you can and cannot do in there agreement form to play... I myself was working alot of late hours (no excuse for what Im about to tell you) but I decided in order to keep up with other people in my clan, I went to a website to just get me honor points... (no not gold, No not items... No Not to level... No not to get my professions up.. No... not to get reputation... simply just to get my honor points up... For this my account was Banned... Im still waiting for a reply from them about the infraction I broke... Apparently if you spit in the wind the wrong way on this game you will be flagged or banned.. Do not get into a pissing contest with the little kids... they tend to make you mad .. make you say something then report you.... I have to say overall the game is O.K. But im a little miffed about the money i spent to the website to help me out will not give me back the money i sent them till Blizzard sends me something as to why my account is banned which i doubt thats going to happen been waiting 5 days now.. Blizzard decided to take my 14.99 the day before... but I havent recieve a email stating that will come back to my checking account.. Ive played many MMORPG games before and i have to say "Stay away from this one"... Wait till a newer one comes out... I know what I did was wrong I guess in their eyes.. I still dont see the infraction except giving out my account name and password... and that is my buisness not theirs.. I dont need Big brother looking over my shoulder at every move or everything I say in the game.. Its sad very sad.. For example they have a profanity filter.. but if you use profanity you get flagged if someone wants to report you.. why dont they say to the person offended put on your filter or put him/her on your ignore list... If your wondering I had up until this moment never used a third party to help me out... The first Time i do I got Banned.... Account closed 44+ days down the tubes. lvl 70 warlock with epic armor Gone... from scratch waited in line for 4 hours to get the expansion when it hit the shelves... Ok fine i got banned give me back my 14.99 from blizzard and the other website better return my money I gave them.. Or they too will go up online as a website not to be trusted... For those of you that have played MMORPG games before and want to play this one and thing that maybe you can go to a website to get leveled or buy gold or anything think again... This game will take your 49.99 + 24.99 (expansion) + 14.99 month and whatever you did with the char and kill it... I would advise you not to spend your money on this game.... Anyways Good luck to whatever you do... I dont need people writing to this topic saying "you cheat"... "thats what you get"... I didnt understand the rule of having a person help you do the honor system was wrong.. Dupes I can see, hacks, exploits... yes ban them.. but if a person is willing to help out your character for a cash whats wrong with that??? Capitalism is dead in this game...

I have no compassion for people who pay farmers and get banned for cheating. You are just as bad as a gold buyer. You cheated...and got owned. So do you think all your buddies paid some asian sweat shop to play the game for them? Why waste real money on pixels? Hey, it's your money do what you want. But if you cheat, you deserve to get banned. You should send the farmers your picture so they can hang it above their kitchen table with a note saying "This guy feeds my family".

no sympathy from me, glad you are banned, i don't care what excuse you attempt to give. Claiming you didn't know, hah, that says a lot for how little common sense you have to not instinctively know paying someone to "play" your char in an online competitive game is wrong; and the fact you think there is nothing wrong with it even after being banned, and then having the gall to come here and look for sympathy borderlines the rediculous.
In the future, street crossing signs will have disclaimers just for people like you, to inform you that failing to obey the red flashing warning hand may in fact be dangerous to your safety and isn't a red handed friend motioning for you to cross.
Yup you stated you broke the rules and was banned. Now you are stating you are going to either buy an account or have it leveled for you. So when you get banned for that don't act all surprised this time.
You did something against a contract you signed and the appropiate action was taken. This confuses you how?
It's not ok to pay anyone for in game advancement of any kind...it IS ok to play your own damn self and earn your keep. Why the hell would anyone pay some one else to advance their characters is beyond me though...guess I'm just "Old School".
This is what you don't get though...so waste your money n00B
"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to. Relax....."
It is illegal in WoW to even trade account info or play on another account in order to gain from it. Not sure on the "gaining" part but you're not allowed to play on someone elses account, I know that. A warrior? I believe was going to hit GM, but a rogue that was just under him by a slim amount would get GM next week, so he made a bogus story about him having a few people play his guy so he can get GM, so the WoW GMs temp banned him for a a while (over a week, he still got his GM but man.. I would be pissed).
Moral of the story, don't let anyone do your work.... it could have an outcome that you do not like. That's like going to work, telling Joe Bob you will pay him $100.00 to do this task for you, he does it, the boss finds out he will fire you and Joe Bob... hard lesson leared to the both of ya.
Do you know what this person did with the time he had? yes? no? He could have broken dozens of rules, insulted others to no end and any bad thing possible, including scamming, because HE DIDN'T HAVE TO ANSWER FOR IT. you had to. Did you had friends? people that trusted you in the game? this guy could have easily got resources out from them too. Not to talk of their personal details if needed. Now you see the potential for abuse? A person need to be accountable for his actions and if "account renting" is allowed, then they are not.
Beside that, Virtual Trading in ANY form is often considered a shady area. there is no precise legislation in the field just yet, but most company frown upon it and/or outright deny it.
Blizzard is one such company.
"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime"
Honor points are used to buy rewards aren't they? Which means they are basically a form of currency, correct? So how is that different from buying gold exaclty? Look, I'm not trying to insult you, so you don't need to call me an obnoxious rich kid like you did with the last guy, but it should seem obvious that anytime you pay a third party website so that they can give you some form of in-game advantage that it would be in violation of the EULA. You need to get the idea that you should get your money back out of your head, cause that will never happen (Blizzard is huge company, probably has army of corporate lawyers who have analyzed every possible reason someone could ask for refund and found ways to refute it). I work obnoxious hours too, couldn't devote ridiculous amounts of time to raiding in WoW, so I quit and went to different game, didn't pay someone else to do the work for me.
And capitalism does not exist in the mmo world. It's their IP, their dictatorship, they can do as they please and no court in the land will take your side.
I love how you think you are special and that rules and contracts dn't apply to you like everyone else, but who ever told you that lied to you.
Just becasue you don't think you need to read rules and take the punishment you agree to does not make it so. I truley hope you are lying about your age, if not then...ugh just ugh.
Really, you should have thought more in depth of your actions. What you did, as a previous poster already said, was to get an advantage. You may "break even" if you played but because it is not YOU that was playing it would be an advantage against others. Two players can get more then twice one normal player can get.
I know your not asking for a pitty party or supporters, you are just stating what happened and at the time you didn't think it was wrong. There is a saying that is one of my favorites because its funny "Life sucks then you die." Ya... it sucks that Blizzard locked or banned you, but hey get over it and restart or... well... die (figuratively not literally).
I saw you saying something along the lines of starting again where you left off, at 70 or so? Does that mean your going to get your account back or buy another account? Just a little unclear on your future action you stated. Hell what do I care.... just don't take any help from another player, 3rd party site / program, or anything to get an "edge" or advance faster then a normal player can do. That is very suspicious.

In and out, its all your wrong doings and just accept your punishments like a real man.
All canceled. Waiting on Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning.
Sharing your account info is an infraction. Not to mention you have no clue what other infraction the service your paying is committing while on your account. You cheated and got caught. Deal with it.
