I'm wondering if will Square Enix bring fresh server for those who want play again with low lvls?

If so, when will come one?

I won't play this game until the new server come!

I would also come back and play! I have been contemplating it a lot lately, I did love the game, but I want to make sure there are lower level to play with before I actually decide to come back.

There are tons of low levels in-game.  Great thing about this game is there are so many jobs to choose from, so at any given time there aer going to be new players and old players leveling lower level charactors, since you don't have to stay with one job all the time and can switch back  and forth. I know I have 3 char's around level 15 and 2 in the 60's the rest are at level 1.  So new server or no lots of low levels , at least on Shiva, and new people everyday.

They're not adding servers.  Last I heard, they combined a couple (making less available).  There are a ton of low level people in this game.  Like previously stated.  There are people who have played for over a year who now want to level their lower jobs.  If you're waiting on people to play with, now is the time to play.  I know about 8 people who just picked up the game (Bismarck Server) and i see new people all the time in the desert.

This is NOT true. There are 32 public servers/worlds, plus one test server. It's been so for a very long time.

OP, if you "won't play this game until the new server come", then you will never play this game...

To the first and second posters on this thread... You will always find new players - or if not "new players", at least people leveling new jobs, starting from 1 in the same areas as you.

You solo from levels 1-10... perhaps as high as 1-14 (I've personally solo'd Dragoon up to 15 before partying up).

In all, don't be put off by the fact that there are other, more experienced players who've been around longer. The game isn't restricted to people who started a year or more ago - everyone has the same content and same experiences available to them. I know there are some people out there who feel if they can't at least be in step with the more experienced players - if not ahead of them - then it's not worth playing. I have a friend in rl who stopped playing FFXI for that reason.. he could never be "the best" on the server. To me, that's ridiculous.

It's a great game and there will always be people in your level range to play with.

Not true.  I was leveling SAM, and I hit level 30 (or maybe 32) and could not get a group.  Of course, I was on Asura, don't know if that makes a difference.

Not getting into parties was the main reason I quit.  >.>

Not true? So you're arguing that it's impossible to find people in your own level range to party up with? If that isn't true, then how do you explain people getting not one, or two.. or even three.. but as many as 6, 7 and, hell, in a few cases, as many as *all* jobs up to 75? They're certainly not soloing it. And even if they spent every waking minute playing FFXI.. regardless.. *someone* has to be inviting them.

I'm playing Dragoon which, if you follow the FFXI trends, is often referred to as "lolDRG" and is never a first-choice, or even a second-choice DD job in a party. Still I get invites regularly and am leveling up quite rapidly. Is it slower at times than others? Of course. I've gone an entire evening without an invite on a couple occasions. It happens. Sometimes there just aren't enough parties in need of a DD in my level range at the times I'm seeking. That's just bad timing. However, at other times, I have invites coming within minutes of putting my seek flag up. Sometimes I get invites even when I'm *not* seeking a party.

A friend of mine just started SAM about 4 days ago.. I kid you not, he hit 30 in two days thanks to regular invites to parties.

If you can't get an invite.. try starting a party of your own. Often times there are the makings of a full party who, like you, are sitting around with their seek flags waiting for an invite themselves. Be pro-active and start your own party instead of waiting.

Um, last I heard... meaning, the last I heard about server news they combined one into Bismarck.  This is indeed true though it might have been done some time back.  But my point stands.  That they wont be adding servers any time soon.

Ok, I'll give you the facts on what happened with Bismarck:

December 19, 2002, (7 weeks after the FFXI US release) 3 new servers were activated. Each of them was created for one single reason, giving home to overpopulation from other servers. These are the servers, the new ones with IDs, and which servers players were transfered from:

Server ID #24, Bismarck: Overpopulation from Carbuncle, Valefor, Quetzacotl and Unicorn

Server ID #25, Ixion: Overpopulation from Phoenix, Sylph, Odin and Ifrit

Server ID #27, Kirin: Overpopulation from Bahamut, Shiva, Siren and Ragnarok.

It was quickly clear that overpopulation didn't fill up 3 new servers, so they decided to close down 2 (they didn't want to wait for new players since they wanted the servers to be as equal as possible). Therefore, on January 14, 2003, these 3 servers merged, and Bismarck was the "lucky" one to survive. Several new servers were activated later because of an increase in players. FFXI has never merged servers because of any drop in amount of players, if anyone believed so.

Just a few facts for those interested in such
