There should be two sections for LoTRO

Keep the one forum board, but there should be two areas of discussion (i.e. General Discussion, etc.) as there are two companies running the game. There should be NA discussion and EU discussion sections. As it can get confusing at times when people are making comments about servers, lag, etc. If people are having a bad experience in the EU version due to server related problems, downtime, account/billing problems, etc., which all fall to Codemasters to fix, it can and does reflect negatively on the NA version run by Turbine (the creators of the game).

It would also help in regards to answering problems people are having as far as known fixes, etc. if we know which version they are running to begin with. As it is, you get people complaining about something, and you get others responding that they are not and have never had that particular problem, with neither party realizing they are not playing the same version of the game.

  • Codemasters is just in charge of billing and such for the EU servers I thought and not the actual running of em. Turbine is still the company that has to do with the game structure itself along with all servers which seems to be what more people have issues with currently (obviously since billing hasn't opened up).

If you are in the EU open beta you go to codemaster LOTRO site to report problems. They will then direct them to the proper source. Same with the NA servers. You go to the NA LOTRO site.

That's all fine and well. However, a large amount of people discuss, look for answers, and report problems here where the general public resides. So, for these people, there should be two discussion forums here.

As for the poster who thought CM only handled billing, CM is a publisher, not a billing company.
