I just finished leveling my Hunter, and i thought i should roll a Rogue.
Now, I was choosing between the 2 Races: Night Elves & Gnomes. Night elfevs start of with more stamina, thought gnomes are much smaller and harde to detect in stealth mode.
Do one of these matters not matter? Should i be small, and have less stamina, or tall with more stamina. The height of a Character dosent really matter in PvE, but in PvP i think it does, but im not sure.

Also, the professions. I only use professions for farming, not for pvp or wep/armer. I would love to get Herb.&Mining. but they both need the rad. on tjhe minimap. I was wandering , if i needed to farm alot, should i take herb. and something, or Mining, and something?

Id also like to add, that a Rogue could beat a Hunter, if succesfully attacked with a stealth attack. Also the same with 2 Rouges vs 2 Hunters?

I would say go NE just because i cannot stand gnomes
With auto targeting I do not think the height of your char is much an issue, but it might be
"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime"
As for the profession: as a gnome you get +15 engineering so in that case you could do mining + engineering. I also find mining to be much more effective for making gold then herbalism.
When choosing between races you should always look first at the racial skills. In this case both make good rogues Night Elves have Shadowmeld and a dodge bonus, whilst gnomes have escape artist and an engineering bonus.
Looks quite close to me. Which do you prefer the look of? Which do you feel more comfortable playing?

Second best race for a rogue for PvP is a dwarf, sorry not a Night Elf. Dwarf's racial allows you to remove bleed effects and do second cheap shot on a warrior.
NE is good for casters (drink in pve in piece) and hunters (pvp ganking and pve stealth instance runs), not so much for rogues.
Height of the character, believe it or not, does not matter so much if you are a melee class. You will be wasting time if you dont use Tab to select all those idiots running in circles around you. "Tab" even beats Nogenfogger/World Enlarger on Gnomes... if it wouldn't Blizz would have nerfed it long ago.
Jesus is your buddy!
2. I would suggest herb/skin. Herbalism will give you mats for some of your abilities. Blinding powers and Thistle Teas.
3. As for Rogue vs. Hunter, it depends. If you get the jump on a hunter he will more than likely freeze trap you as soon as you miss a step in your stunlock. You will then be kited until you get 60+ abilities that help you combat this tactic. I would also like to point out that there is no WIN NUMBER ONE OWN YOU class in the game. Every class can be really awesome in a group setting. Hunters are just DPS machines.
