new mmo ideas?

i personally think that a Dragonlance mmo based in the world of Krynn around the time of the chronicles trilogy would be pretty sweet... a Wheel of Time mmo might be pretty interesting as well (11 books of info seems more than enough to me to make a great game...)

the mmo industry is in a crippled state right now, after the success of games like UO,EQ,and DAoC it seems like others have frantically been trying to throw games out in an attempt to make money, it doesnt seem to me like games are made the way they should be anymore, and people are getting tired of whats being offered, unless someone, somewhere comes up with a great game that serves gamers needs, rather than just looks pretty enough to steal $50 from all of us, the mmo industry will die...

i know i am very close to saying goodbye to mmos for good unless something special comes along....and i am willing to bet im not the only one who feels this way

I _think_ there was one being developed by someone (maybe Code Masters?) that was supposed to have a world similar to this. But I believe the plug was pulled on it a while ago. I can't remember the name of it though... Dragon World? Dragon Empires? Not sure...
