LOTRO Stops Playing and Gives Me a Windows Error

Everytime while I am playing and walking through the game the client stops and everything stall's. Then a box pops up saying LOTRO has stopped working windows is seaching for a solution to this problem. Does anyone know why this is happening? Does anyone know what I can do to make it work... please respond

My System:

Quad Core Processor

GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB

2 GiG DDR2 Ram

Soundblaster X-Fi ExtremeMusic Sound Card

500 Gig HD

Windows Vista Home Premium Edition

If any of these piece are known to have issues please write that in the response as well... I reserved this game thinking it was going to be the best but has given me nothing but problem... please... help me out....

this is what I did





right click the launcher in the folder or your client wherever it is...mines in the LOTRO folder. Run it under as windows xp sp2 and also the most important step is to run it under administration mode, by right clicking and click run as administrator.



Should work, as I had the same problem.

Also, if that doesnt work, run your graphic settings to very high, as vista has problems with LOTRO on the ultra settings...problem with the vista drivers
