While I do, I thought I'd just waste a few minutes here. 5 days left in beta, getting a nice healthy patch as I type, have to say that LotRO is one of the more solid betas since my experience with the WoW open beta. Probably the best, but it's hard to beat some of the games of the past. The time in our lives when we played them mix in with these long games themselves, so they become romanticized in our memories. IMHO, that is.

Anyways I'm enjoying plowing through the n00b levels with elf champion. Thank you for the free game turbine lol when I see the box on the shelf I'm going to be a lot more likely to break down and pick it up because of this very solid beta.

    Maybe im a bit of a stinge with my cash, maybe I am too skeptical when it comes to new mmo's...maybe I knit pick too much....however...



    This is the first game in quite sometime that I will probably purchase and leave my current MMO for.



    So i'll be playing live, I think I may even give RPing a chance ( never have before ).



    So in the end its up to LOTRO I suppose, it seems that they have peaked the interest of quite a few people, and a decent amount will purchase the game...I just hope that my excitement for "potential" is met on the other end of my dollar.



    If not, whatever, im sure i'll be entertained for at least a few months, 9.99 per month? Cant beat that



    I'll be playing on Silverlode as a Human Guardian along with my gf the Human Minstrel if any of you need a meatshield to hide behind and healer to mend your wounds to tag along
