As you may already know, if you pre-order LOTRO, you can choose to either buy a lifetime subscription ($200) or pay $9.99/month, rather than the typical $15/month. What do you all think of this type of incentive?
I must admit, paying only $9.99/month is quite tempting and I kind of want to pre-order it, despite the fact that I was a beta tester for six months or so and hardly played it because I didn't like it that much (though it has improved a lot since I first tested it).
Anyone else tempted to pre-order LOTRO in large part because of the pricing model?
Comments
Way better than the usual useless pre-order junk.
I am going for the $9.99 per month selection.
But, you better get a move on.
It's about to ship (and it WILL ship on time).
Once released, pre-order is done and history.
You *must* create your pre-order account before release and create your final account within 30 days of release.
So, if you want the deal, don't delay.
Clock is ticking.
