Lord Of The Rings Online - HELP!

in Lord of the Rings Online

Hi everyone

I got the LoRTO Pre-Order today and just tried to install it on my PC and about 60-70% way through the installation it says:

Please can somone help!

I tried pressing Retry but get same problem

    Have you tried looking through the Technical Support stuff?

    Looked on there and theres no help,

    I cant even email them it says it's been diabled.

    Someone got back to me by the next day.  For my friend, he was already in game - so someone contacted him while he was playing and helped him out but he had a very different issue to work out.  Good luck!

    Never had this problem with a game b4 don't get why this ones actin up >.<

    Shame I really wanted to play it

    Sounds like you have a bad disk.  Take it back to the store and get a new copy.

    You can also download the game from Turbine and use the .dat file from there.  The only difference between the two versions is that the boxed game has 1 extra file.  It's call Client_highres.dat.  You can download and install from Turbine and copy over the client_hires.dat from the disk.

    and where do I put it?
