Why I Support Hillary Clinton?

We need Bill Clinton back again.

Edit: Clinton had so many and varied problems, the biggest being the tyrant Janet Reno.

I'd never vote for hillary clinton.  In fact if she wins the primary and obama does not run as an idependent i may vote for a republican presidential candidate for the first time.  Hillary is just another spineless politician- where as Obama is a stand up guy.  What's so great about HIllary?  She tries to appear like souther corn fed old fashioned american folk while pandering to ultra liberal special interest groups.

    Honestly, she's a flake.

I know a lady who used to campaign for hilary(when she was going for congress) but she stopped because hillary was telling too many lies... and taking credit for things she hadn't done...

Bill Clinton is a cool cat... But HIllary... hmmm... i dont know... I'm very suspicious of her and her tactics...

    Hehe.

    I am being facetious.

I will never vote for a dynasty such as "Bush" or "Clinton" or "Kennedy" et al.

We do need a genuine, real President who is effective.  I somewhat think it would be wise to elect a Republican since the Congress is controlled by the Democrats.

When the Republicans controlled the Congress and Presidency, we have nothing but over spending, abuse, corruption, unnecessary wars even!  We need that check again, I think.

    What do you think?

I just do not think he is a viable candidate, even if he wins the nomination.

Do you think he could win the Presidency?  I am from Illinois, and he has not accomplished very much at all (if anything) in this state.

We somewhat need some one effective, I think, and his effectiveness is unproven from MY perspective.

    Right.

The joke was that the reason why one would actually vote for her would be to have Bill as the "First Man" I guess as she was the "First Lady" during Bill's Presidency.

Hillary is a monster. God help us if she gets elected.

Obama is 10x better than Hillary in my eyes, even though i'm not a democrat.

I'm hoping for Fred Thompson to run.

Second time today you've voiced your opinion about Obama...I'm a little bit surprised...are you of the belief that he is the lesser of two evils as far as the democrats are concerned or do you really WANT him to be our president?  Given your background as a Christian and even a pastor (priest? not sure) it's peculiar that you would back someone like Obama.

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

Vote Libertarian, the best of both Liberalism and Conservatism.  Hillary in office would be a disaster.

What the bloody hell is that supposed to mean? Have I missed some of the crap the presidential mudslingers have been throwing?

In any case, I agree with the general sentiment here. Clinton sure as hell would be atrocious for this country.

Well, being a Priest I have to guage the evils on the republican side too.

The favorite for the republican side for me is Rudy G. However, isn't he the guy that cheated on his wife for years and even let his mistress move in with him? Sure, he worked wonders for New York. He decreased crime and homicide dramatically and was headstrong during 9/11 but he is no more innocent of a poltical party leader.

If Im gonna bash the Clintons and the Kennedies for being unethical people, then I have to point my finger at Rudy as well. Why do I like Obama? Well, for one; he is extremely smart. And two; he doesn't get on a soap box and bash the integrity of people.  For example, when asked how he feels about the Presiden't policy, he always refer him as Mr. President and gives him the upmost respect. That, to me, is increadible! Hillary will attack her own party if it benefits her. Hell....she's doing it with Obama

I don't know who Im going to vote for. But what is certain is the fact that I will never vote for Hillary or J Edwards.  Never.

  • I just don't think Obama has the credentials to be president. He hasn't done anything.

This is why I feel really uneasy about this election, I don't see any good options on any side. I hate Clinton, don't feel confident in Obama. Guiliani is not the spectacular leader people think he is (he made some huge blunders leading to 911) and he's proven he's kind of...a dick, in the bad way (I appreciate a president who can be the right kind of sob). I don't trust McCain anymore. I just don't see a decent choice in the whole batch.

    Too young.

But if I did run, I'd need a VP. I nominate Riki. If anyone gets too critical of me I'll send him out to ninja someone into submission. Tyranny can be fun :)

Obama hasn't done anything? Just means that he's not so tainted with corruption (although I can't say that for sure). I honestly would rather have someone who was fresh go into the the oval office because he probably won't have a politician mindset with everything. I would rather have a president look at things with an honest to goodness common sense approach instead of asking "How do I please my party/supporters/corporations?".

    Very interesting.

It does appear as if Obama in fact has a lot of support.  I somewhat thought it was... more or less of phase; he is new, fresh.

I was excited about Giuliani because I think he is an effective executive.  In regards to his personal life, I think we are all guilty of many and varied mistakes in our lives.  I am not confident that personal mistakes should preclude a person from the Presidency.

Why? I am terrified of actually electing a morally perfect person.  What if this person then expects all of us to be morally perfect and embarks on a campaign to pass laws that legislate this person's morality?  A frightening proposition.

To return to Giuliani, I am not thrilled with his position on the USA Patriot Act; he is not a staunch defender of liberty or privacy, and I am not sure I can vote for some one that does not share my values (regardless of party).  We must reform the USA Patriot Act, and Guiliani seems to be its strongest defender!

/agree  I vote None of the above!

Yeah it really doesn't matter so much how much Obama has done.  He's young.  Most other guys in politics have one foot in the grave.  Obama's a leader and a visionary- if you park his ass in the oval office; give him the power- he'll get things done.  All Hillary or Giulianni are gonna do is serve their cronies and play strictly by party lines- changing nothing; as usual.

    I agree.

Ms Clinton wants to ban "violent" gaming both console and internet PC type... 'for the good of the children'

She intends if the games can not be baned then she wants to "tax" gaming, esp MMO so they can be supressed, much like tobacco now has a $1.75 tax in it's $2 retail price "for the good of those effected," (and line the pockets of the gov't.)

Review her voting history to actually see what causes and programs she supports BEFORE you toss her your support (just because she is a woman...) since the last pres was a D avg student with an admin corrupt from the top down, any change has to be an improvement, even a woman, or minority.

One has a responsibility to try and find out what their representives stand for in the US republic. It is not and never has been a democrazy.

If she is elected to the Executive (law enforcement) branch, she will seriously redirect enforcement against men (those good-ole-boys that have ruined politics for the last 300 yrs.) There will be no 'equal protection' of law under her administration, rather it will swing away from those that have ignored laws, fabricated evidence and supresed minorities.

And down the line gay women will finally have a voice at the top. Do rosey and shawn pen support her?

This is a gaming web site, but the admin here is totally ignoring it's responsibility to present the political views of those authorities that WILL try and force their will on the industry. By keeping the masses uninformed the press sidesteps it's duty of bringing light to what goes behind closed doors and in the dark.

They are both going to wind up serving corporate interests.  Don't believe the hype!  The election will probably will be rigged (again) so that another evil republican war monger will win.  There's still a few countries in the middle east with OIL.
