This man is awesome! He really sold the game for me and made it look even better then it already did! a nice english man, England rules :P

    same here. Plus I really like his honest approach. He tells it like it is. No lame ass promisses (*cough 3rd generation *cough) but simple black on white. This is what the game will be like. If you don't play like this - get lost and play WoW.

    If the game is a fraction as entertaining as Paul, then it's worth playing.

    Playing - --
    Played - AO, CoH/CoV, DDO, Eve, Guildwars, LOTRO, WoW.
    Waiting - For WAR, Fury.

    Ive said it before, Mythic couldnt ask for a better main tank than Paul.

    I can bet he can get very annoying though, after a while with him barking im your ear. but yeah hes the best front man for a game I have ever seen, wouldn't quite want his babies though

    Paul Barnet is the best PR-man they ever could get a MMORPG. I love his style and he is hitting the right group.

    I didnt get really interested in WAR until i saw a link to one of the Paul barnett Videos.



    Some sentences that really struck me are



    "this game is about beating the living snot out of people"



    "there won't b any class standing at the back just healing, cuz it's BORING"



    [about the possibility for people to whine on official forums about soandso feature not being a copycat from other MMORPGs] "I'm telling you know, this is not the game for you".



    He's honest, fun, cool, straightforward. And the main reason why i'm now a WAR fanboy.

    >> EQ1 2000-2004 - Shaman/Bard/Wizard/Monk - nolife raid-whore
    >> WoW 2004-2009 + Cataclysm for 2 months - hardcore casual
    >> Current status : done with MMO, too old for that crap.

    He did nothing in this clip to entice ME to play WAR Online, but I thought it was entertaining, at the very least.

    Of course, I expected that as I have known for quite some time that WAR Online is not the game for me.

    LMAO,  just saw the video that someone linked here, its awesome, defintly gets people want to play the game, he's straight forward and says things like they are, and mocking Posh is allways a good thing :p

    I have to say that I have absolutely no interest in this game and he pretty much got me excited on it.



    He is a great asset to this game.

    When I interviewed for a job at Mythic they were telling me that Paul is placeholder in the game right now for any unfinished models. So if you fight a mob that doesn't have a finished model it will be Paul Barnett attacking saying things like "We're not finished yet!!" The game is still a year away!!!!"
