well right now i can run the game fine on low settings with the following spec:

    AMD Turion 64 2.0Ghz

    1GB DDR2

Raedon Mobility Xpress 1100 64-256 shared

Because my graphics card steals 256 Ram im upgrading to 2gb of ram on wednesday so it should run even smoother!

These are the official system requirements. I have heard that a number of people have been able to play on underpowered systems by turning some of the settings down and that they still find that the game looks sufficiently good considering their hardware limitations. :)

    Anticipated Retail Minimum Requirements:
Processor: Intel Pentium® 4 1.8 GHz or equivalent
    Video: 64 MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 3 or ATI® Radeon® 8500

    DirectX: DirectX® 9.0c
    OS: Windows® XP
    RAM: 512 MB
    Disk Space: 7 GB available
    Internet: 56kbps Modem

    Optical Drive: 2x DVD-ROM

    Recommended System Requirements:

Processor: Intel Pentium® 4 2.8 GHz or equivalent
    Video: 128 MB NVIDIA® GeForce® FX 6800 or ATI® Radeon® X850
    DirectX: DirectX® 9.0c
    OS: Windows® XP / Vista
    RAM: 1 GB
    Disk Space: 10 GB available
    Internet: Broadband DSL/Cable
    Optical Drive: 2x DVD-ROM

You'lle be fine. I'd uprade your RAM a.s.a.p. though. 1 gig just doesnt cut it anymore. 2 gigs should be fine.
