    Heh, you gotta wonder how much is being paid to review sites for these 'perfect' reviews.

    Well now, I like LotRO, am planning on buying the lifetime sub, but this article read a bit too much like a press release and not much like a balance review.  I'm all for giving praise where/when it's due, but this was a bit over the top.  The game is good, but the 9/10's other sources are giving it are a bit more accurate in their assessments of it.



    Besides, the reviewer said he was having a hard time with the npc mobs and dying... that's not a complaint most folks will make, usually they say its a bit too easy at times....



    Oh well, it is in keeping with the trend of positive reviews from many sources, and it is a fun game for the right type of player.



    Can't say it will be a WOW killer though.... too many people are firmly entrenched in that game and players are hard to pry away from their game of choice, esp if they haven't tired of it yet.

    MMORPG staff is a bit slow on this one, they still have it listed as underdevelopment.  Let's face it the game actually launched a month ago, but of course only today it is official.

    I would not rate it a 5, more like 4.5.

    While the overall gameplay is excellent, and I have seen almost no bugs, crashes, or glitches -  there are still some issues, especially on the crafting side of the game.

    So while better than 95% of the releases, 5/5 impies a perfect game - and it is not. It still has a few issues.

    On the other hand, for comparison, I would rate Vanguard a 2/5.

    No, actually the official date is the 29th.

    Only preorders started today.

    You do realize that the original post was a review for The Lord of the Rings, not Vanguard.. or did you even read it?

       Dont mind him. Vantrolls rarely pay attention to details.
