I posted this on the official site, just seeing if anyone here was having the same issue. Im just copy/pasting my forum from lotro.com.
when i launch the launcher it does its little patch check and when it gets to Updating programs it says "Waiting" it sits there for a little bit then it says...
An update error occurred; The request has timed out. The connection to this internet site took longer than the allotted time
I have reinstalled, have tried replacing the backup files in the normal files, and waited and retried over and over with no luck. I have tried removing the windows firewall and that didn't work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
