The official Buddy Serial Code thread

in City of Heroes

In celebration of the 3rd year anniversary of City of Heroes, active players have been given Buddy Serial Codes.  These are different from free trials; in addition to the 10-days of game time, your buddy gets full access to CoH & CoV.  Should your buddy want to keep playing after the 10 days, he only needs to purchase subscription time.

 

If you would like one, post here and hopefully, some benevolent players will still have theirs to share.  Please don't forget to thank your benefactor and edit your post if you receive one.

    the buddy key thing is that only for the US version or the EU version too?

    Wait, the free trial without buddy key gives access to both COV and COH right now.   I dont see the difference.

    With a trial, you have to buy the game and upgrade to "retail" when the trial is up, you can't simply start paying per month. With the buddy code, it counts as a retail code so there's no need to buy the box.

    Of course with box prices spotted at $15 or lower that's not necessarily saving anyone money, but it does save the hassle of finding a copy.

    Hello Im really interested in playing CoH again I burnt out long ago ( 1+ years) and with issue 9 it looks like the game became alot more involved/fun. So if anyone has an unused buddy code it would greatly be appriceated my E-mail is rnaodmnick@gmail.com Thanks again.

    I wouldn't mind giving a try to CoH/CoV as I've given up WoW and after playing LoTRO, found I just don't care for it much.  Any kind soul who has one of these passes and would send it along, my email is jerryphillipsjr@gmail.com

    I would love a trial key to check out the game again.  I stopped playing shortly after CoV came out, and Issue 9 sounds like it has added some really neat features.

    I tried CoH in the first stages of the game, but then I thought it was repetitive, but since then I've heard a lot of new features have been added to the game since, so if anyone can send me a buddy key so I can try it again, it would be much appreciated...
