For those who say this game is to easy.

I got 1 quest for ya to try.

Retake the Weathertop.

Absolutely absurd lvl 20 quest. No way this quest was ever ment to be accomplished with a group full of just lvl 20's.  Friggin mountain troll with 14k health after a tough boss with 10k life with adds. Was absolutely a challenge doing this.

20 burglar, 22 burglar, 21 minstrel, 25 champion, 20 guardian, 22 hunter. The only we succeeded was due to the dam troll buggin on us every 30 or so seconds and allowing the burglars conj cooldowns to happen allowing for massive damage and power regen for the minstrel. Maybe not the best group for it, but jeez was it a great and challenging quest.

It had to do with their anti-exploit bug and the way the ground is set in the area. You can basicly exploit it if people spread out like any normal group would to bug.

First issue i've truly had so yeah it is rather polished, and hey guess what a couple days out of the gate its doing a whole hell of a lot better than any other game i've played yet this early on.

what a concept huh Stan, the troll was buggy and they still had a great time Amazing concept isn't it a game that is really fun to play again.

I tryed that quest the other night as healer and was without a full group, the troll never bugged but he finanly got us after about a ten minute hit and run fight with him. We were all high teens and no way it was gonna work, but it was still had a great time. We had a blast doing the book 1 quests tonight, chapter 11 was awesome and I cannot wait to lvl a bit for the Book 2 series.

    I miss DAoC

LOL this one bug proves it isn't a polished game. I can't believe you are so petty to make such a statement. One bug does not make a game unpolished. Try again.

Not done this quest yet, but from what I hear it's one of the best. Perhaps a Lore Master might have helped to nerf the troll and everything instead of an extra burglar? But in any case, it sounds like a toughie.

Looking forward to it - and to Carn Dum, which the devs says is also a serious challenge..

Just because you found a hard quest doesn't make the game less easy.

    That's a double-edged sword you're swinging there.

Just because you don't take risks, doesn't make the game less hard. Like with any MMO, it all depends on how much you want to challenge yourself. For example, reaching the mid-20's in any MMO is a pretty easy thing to do, and LOTRO is no different in that respect, and it largely depends if you choose the easy path to get there, or the more difficult path. If you choose the hard path with LOTRO, you'll die a lot more, adding more downtime through dread points - which at around the 20's, 2 dread = over 100HP's morale debuff, thus dropping your staying power significantly. Combined with the high cost of repairs, it makes life more difficult for the adventurous risk-taker.

There's plenty of danger and difficulty in LOTRO if you choose to face it. Quests like the one the OP mentioned become more common the higher you go, but with far greater rewards to tempt you. I hear that at higher levels, LOTRO isn't exactly a walk in the park, but until I actually experience such content I choose to reserve judgement on that. Until then I choose to challenge myself with more difficult quest lines and by fighting harder mobs - just like I've done in every previous MMO I've ever played; despite the consequences.

Unlike you apparently, I don't let the game hold my hand.
