Performance has improved a lot since the last patch. I was able to up my graphic quality to medium high, with bloom. Before I was sitting at medium balanced.

Stop kidding people pls, we hear that after every patch, except I never noticed any difference.
I could play at the same setting but the client keept crashing, and FPS were not great either.
If there was a free trial then people could try it for themselves....................

Some parts of performance have improved indeed as i get more FPS everywhere vari from 10+/20 + in most area's. But i do encounter more stutters when entering a city then i use to have, i have not changed settings since last patch, but i also have not increased settings since last patch. I also must include my travels are now around New Targonor and so far this place seems pretty bugged up as here i have fallen trhu the world 2 times, had instant death + fall thru world at login and have crashed 2 times. Now i don't know for sure if this is due to the patch or due to the area i'm in as i never experianced these things at Khal, Martok, Qelia. Anyway New Targonor feels for me a place to avoid for now. Also feel that the city there is way and way to large and dark inside. Good thing i have not started around New Targonor else i might have ended up not liking the game as i might have missed all the fun places and stuff i have done on the other continents.
But it did gave me a better understanding why it is why some seem to hate the game that much. I never deny'd Vanguard had problems, but i now noticed there are pretty severe bugs in some places and like i said would i have started at any of such place i mostlikely would not be playing Vanguard as it might make me think the whole game is like that. Afcourse its not good that area's are like that in a game and should be sorted out a.s.a.p, but the good thing is thats its a very hugh world with lots of choises where you are not forced to stick in that area, unless afcourse you made a character there.Overall still enjoying the game and will avoid NT for now.
Conclusion some will feel a performance boost but again this will be mainly a personal experiance as someone can have the same system and still might diver in performance. Scary thought maybe ...but i'm sure when tech catches up
we will experiance some reall performance improvements. With tech i mainly mean drivers/updates/directX/patches ect. but this takes time.
Keep in mind some or maybe even the majority of gamers couldn't play lets say Oblivion at max setting when the game was released and its safe to say this goes for practicly every game which fits the graphic quality/quantity of a mmo or rpg like Oblivion
