xmas contest winners

anyone heard any news from the devs at all about when we should be getting in? was hoping we would have been the first crew to enter but it does not look like it. they have alreayd invited players and i have no email.

    Well this is technical beta and after that you get the general beta wich is more closed beta and give players a bit more freedom in 'playing' the game.

    In technical beta you are a bit forced to test this or test that so think for those contest winners it is more fun to get in the general beta.

    No NDA 'til you're chosen. And they've already started inviting, so all we can do is wait and hope.

    Well I sent FunCom an e-mail regarding beta because Tech beta just started and I wasn't sure what beta I had won a spot in. So I'll let you guys know when I get in Smile Here's the reply:

    Not to worry, these are only the technical tests we're doing now. Its

    not actual gameplay testing. That won't happen until we get to General

    beta, and that's when we'll let you in right away. The tests we're

    running now only last a few hours every month and you're certainly not

    missing out as it only involve breaking the servers etc. and very little

    gameplay. The reason why we can't let anyone in right now is because we

    need to select specific people with specific computer systems for these

    tests.



    Hang in there! As soon as general beta kicks off, you'll be first in line.

    sweet, thanks for the info on this. still cannot wait though. with all the crap that has been released im hoping funcom will listen to the testers about bugs and content. would love to see this game as polished as a brothel worker and a knob.
