in Final Fantasy XI
Hey guys, me and my friend want to start playing today. But we remembered that it charges at the beginning of the month. We already have accounts from before so if we start on the 28th which is today. We will get charged on the 1st again right? And also, can you pick your server now?

    You'll be charged the prorated fee for the last 2 days of April, then the full month of May on May 1st.

    Nope, still can't pick own server unless you have a World Pass.

    That's funny, I started playing this game Friday and was able to choose whatever World I wanted.

    Fees are also not prorated :p. Or at least, they chqanged their fine print on fees. They ARE prorated IF you have just ended your free trial before the 1st of the month. Returning players will have to pay the full $12.99 +$1 per character for the month you return. I returned on April 28th, and was charged $15.99 for my 2 days of play time, as well as $15.99 for May. Don't restart unless it's within the first week of the month. Their policy hasn't changed.
