Group vs Solo Play

Hi everyone, I have a question about the overall quest system in this game.

How is this game for a casual player that due to limited play schedule may not be able to group up frequently?

Now that people seem to be leveling up pretty far, are people finding a lot of quests/instances that require groups in order to really move on?  Or if this content exists, can it be skipped and not overall kill the experience of the game?

Thanks in advance.

Actually, this game seems like it was designed for solo play. You can solo 99% of the time, no problem.

And nearly all quests/tasks are conveniently located near each other and can be accomplished in small time segments.

However, the main storyline does include some instances that will either require a fellowship (group), or require that you over-level it by quite a bit.

You can skip the main storyling quests (afaik), but you'd be missing out on one of the coolest parts of the game - the scripted story instances.

I'd rather solo than not in any MMORPG, however, I need help with some quests and I'm only level 13. You cannot do any of the Epic quests alone unless you are many levels higher than the encounter. Also, I like being in fellowships, it helps me learn how to play in groups which ultimately will be the only way to play at higher levels, I think.

Nice, thanks.  That doesnt sound too bad.  Now I just need to find a buddy key :)
  • It is also nice that the group quests tend to be bundled. When you have a quest to do one thing with a group there tends to be multiple things within a small area which are group oriented too allowing for a good group to just trounce through the stuff without worry so that you can go back to soloing very quickly.
