Wow, its true. Some of you really think she was there to serve you.
I find that simply amazing.
Ive got to wonder, if the bizzare incredibly low standards people on the internet apply to internet relationships is partly the cause here.
People "loved" Sanya ????????
Cmon, how can you NOT see the absurdity of that statement. The simple fact is, its very unlikely you even KNEW her.If your only connection to her was that she told you what the company she WORKED for told her to tell you,so as to lessen the impact of siad companies action OR inaction, i really have to wonder just how low your standards for "love" are .
For all any of you know, shes a serial killer in her spare time. For all any of you know, she secretly has pictures of each and every CUSTOMER she dealt with for the company she WOKED for on a wall, as part of some vodoo ritual she performs each night trying to cause you harm. For all you know, shes been simply talking out the other side of her head, saying exactly what she thought you'd handle best hearing , despite the fact she thought you should all " just shut up and send in your monthly payment."
And yes, some of the above :for all you know" are bizzare.BUT so if declaring love for someone you DONT KNOW.
I am truly shocked by the bizzare way some of you are talking about the CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON PAID by a company to make you feel good, so that you will react less sternly to things they did(or didnt do) that could annoy you.
Its no freaking wonder the world has the politicians in office it does. Its no wonder many companies spend more money on marketing than on the actual product. Its goes along way in explaining the ever growing divorce rate also.
And its both incredibly bizzare and sad at the same time.
Surely your lives are not so empty that a person paid to tell you things, so you think better of a corporation ,can become the object of your "love" and "affection" for simply doing what said company pays them to do?
IMO any game company that hires Sanya immediately acquires credibility. She won't put up with corporate crap and lies and she won't tolerate a project she doesn't believe in.
In other words we need to get Curt Schillings on the phone and get her hired on at 38 Studios!
I didn'y say it in my previous post, but I like Sanya as much as most of you. I'm glad she got out when she did so EA won't get a chance to mess up her reputation.
Cheers to Sanya

Truly sad to see someone make a post like that in response to a positive, appreciative and well-wishing thread.
Negative, doubting posts like this are the exact reason this site has gone to crap and the world is in the state it's in.

he's just trolling like some of the few I've seen troll on other boards, laugh at him if you feel like talking to him or just ignore him completely, don't go quoting his posts to make him more popular though -_-
Quoting people doesn't make you clever, in fact, it makes you all the more stupid for not bothering to read the quotes you post in the first place.
Really ? And here i thought it was the blind cultist fanbios who devotedly buy what ever crap product, apology and or "line" someone working for an MMO company can smooze you into, that was cuasing harm to the entire MMO industry.
In a way I find this kind of sad, Sanya had a thankless job and probably took a lot of sh*t from the players the last few years. She always communicated well with the community telling them things they did and did not want to hear. If I ever got rich and started my own MMOG, I'd hire her to be my community manager in a heartbeat.
However, I can't say I'm really surprised. She said that "we mutally agreed to separate", meaning she wanted to go and they wanted her to leave. Now you don't leave a job that has potential job security for years (DAoC & Warhammer), unless there is something behind the scenes going on. EA has been known to "purge" people after they acquire another company.
I have no insider info, just outside perspective, but Mythic seemed to always be a small fun-to-work at place before EA bought them (or Mark sold them out). All the previous reports, transcripts and such from the various DAoC gatherings led me to believe this. Now after EA took over, you are seeing another well-known (in DAoC Circles) person depart Mythic for vague reasons. If EA was such a great thing for their company why are people in the upper eschelon leaving? hmmm....

Hopefully it is because EA has higher standards than Mythic did for communication with the customer. Mythic had one way communication. That is not communication... that is a broadcast.
EA may be many things but higher standards for communication isn't one of them.
Sanya did the Grab Bag, where she responded to player posts and emails. That is two-way communication, something very few other game companies even bother with.
