I think what the MMO genre really needs is more elves! j/k
Seriously, what I would like to see is a title that works well with interdependancy, and a solid crafting profession which is its sole profession and not just in combination with a combat toon. Oh, and a skill point system and not a class system.
Give me these options and I wouldn't care what genre it is.
"The final nail in SWG's coffin"
Shayde - SWG (dead)
Proud member of the Cabal.
It sounds great, so great in fact, I pitty those who canceled - Some deluded SWG fanboi who pities me.
I don't like it when you say things. - A Vanguard fan who does too.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic : The Cabal
The story starts with a mass defection to the dark side by a bunch of disgruntled Jedi Knights upset with the order. Swayed by Darth Shaydious the cabal vanished to the Rim with resources and artifacts taken from the Jedi Temple of Agamar.
The cabal then recruited thousands of people using there dark side powers to defect to there Cabal against the Jedi order. In one fell swoop the Cabal threatens to destroy the entire Galaxy bringing about anarachy, choas and disorder in there wake. The breeding ground of the dark side.
Only the carebear glowstick wielding Jedi where totally ignorant of the happens of the galaxy and swore, "everything is fine." as they casually went about there Jedi business ignoring fire after galactic fire that raged across the universe. Only the return of Jedi Master Ralph Koster and his amazing skills and teaching methods could re-energize the Jedi Order and bring back a balance in the force. His teaching would no longer restrict the order to a single form of teaching and progression in the force. He aimed to broaden his Jedi's experience with the force. In doing so he hoped to allow his students to explore the force in a meaningful and deeper method then that of failed and expelled Jedi Master Smedley who nearly single-handedly destroyed the Jedi Order and the Galaxy.
It would be a new dawn for the galaxy and the Jedi Order...
Now that the last remanents of failed Jedi Master Smedley and his Jedi High Council was being erased from galactic history, going down as the darkest days of the universe.
