Is anyone even going to play a faction other than chaos?

Dwarves are short, thats a fact!
cant comment about dark elves yet
and high elves have always been the boyband wannabes of the MMO world

I'm probably going to be chaos chosen or marauder....will try out magus, but I'd rather play a tank.

greenskins look cool imo. im gonna be an orc choppa for sure . and also gonna make a dwarf hammerer. played dwarf since my first MMORPG, and so what if they're short.

Man, i can't get that 400k witch hunter out of my mind....I may just switch if female W:AR witch hunters can look that sexy

To Gonodil: I would truly be afraid if other Chaos gods were being included in the game, but everybody knows Tzeentch is the class nerd who gets sand kicked in his face by Khorne and dumped in the cafeteria dumpster by Nurgle.  Even Slaneesh won't touch him, and she's the "two wine coolers and I'm ready to go" cheerleader slut.  (As I write that, maybe I should refer to Slaneesh as an It, not She)

All kidding aside, I'll probably play both Chaos and Empire. I can't wait to play badass-looking witch hunters or warrior priests instead of generic medieval Joes (WOW)  or total metrosexuals (Guild Wars).  I'm also happy that already there seems to be a large number of Chaos fans - my greatest fear was this game would end up like WOW were everybody plays the good guys simply because Horde characters are  not as visually appealing as Night Elves.

Well, I LOVE the dark elves, my one and only army, so I'm gonna have to roll my first character with them.  Can't wait to see Malus, Mengil, Shadowblade, and a couple others.

However, I am going to have to roll one alliance alt, just so I can fight malekith.  Don't know which class though, because there are so many unique and cool classes.  The engineer who throws grenades and sets up traps seems like it'd be really fun to play in pvp, but witch hunters look so cool too.  Priest of Sigmar seem like a class never before played, a melee priest?  And let's not forget the squig herder! AHHH!  I wanna play them all!

... with the (rather limited) information provided by the warhammeronline.com website: Chaos Magus.

don't rejoice just yet, a lot of people don't post here. My projection is that like wow there will be a whole lot of people who do go for the sex appeal (female elf - if you don't know why, watch the cinematic trailer!). Though i also hope people to be more mature here (course that goes both ways i suppose) since it's a PvP first, PvE second game. Don't get me wrong, not everyone playing a female elf is braindead, but there's an increased chance a lot of it when people go "ooh aah, pretty elf lady".

I might just play as a high elf because they will have the fewest players (According to this poll) and it would be cool to be special like that.

Remember that both Dark and high elves have not had much released about them yet, so they have less hype going for them.
