how to enjoy a game no matter how bad it is

step one:  LOWER YOUR STANDARDS!!!!!!.  most people screw up big time by getting into the hype and sometimes create their own hype.  this is bad in most cases.  what you want to do is set the standard really low.  lets say (for an example) WoW.  really big game , large community and good support.  lets now start thinking AoC as a lot like WoW.  then when the release happens it either blows your mind or (in most cases) is still better than the example you had.  this example could be from any of your experiences and doesn't have to be an MMORPG



step 2:  find a game you really hate.  play it for a bit.  play the new game and find all the good things about that game compared to the other one (this may sound a lot like step 1 but step 1 is really pre-release)







anyway those should bring some comfort to people.   i am not saying AoC will be crap (most likely it wont) and this is my opinion.  my method may not work for some.  if not try and find your own method

MMO wish list:

-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

    However, the two topics were made by different people, so I'm not sure why he's complaining.
