in Lord of the Rings Online

Are destiny points for the normal character (not monster) ever used for anything other than buffs?  Also is there a significant increase in experience gain when using the exp buff?  thanks!

    Beyond buffs no. The xp gain just gives you 3 or so bubbles of rested xp.

    I don't even know what monster play is yet i think i should read about it in the manual
