How is Roleplay in DAoC?

I have been researching this game for a little bit and may as well join it. I have always been a die hard when it comes to roleplay. I want to know the honest truth from those who are expierienced in roleplay and this game. Is roleplay any good?

    There are RP servers for the game.  I have never run across RP on any of the other servers.  I am sure there might be a guild or two that does it, but since most gamers do not like what people call "role-playing" in an mmorpg you won't really be imersed in it.  As for the RP servers, I do not know.  I am sure there are people there that RP.  I also know there are RP filters that change certain shorthand like /lfg into looking for group to help. 



    The best thing to do is to download the trial and login to the RP servers are peak times and go from there.
