Those items are from newegg.com and ewiz.com. This setup is under your $1000 without tax and shipping. A single 8800 GTS will be faster than those cards in SLI. I prefer the core 2 duo processors. Also, that enhance powersupply is very highly reccomended by johnnyguru. I do not like SLI. It adds double the heat, power consumption, and cost for about 1/3 the performance gain. Not, to mention you have to buy more expensive motherboards and power supplies. Just pick a really good single video card and upgrade when it shows its age to another really good video card... don't bother with SLI. Have fun picking parts and assembling them.
Wattage of power supplies is misleading. For current video cards you need to look at the Amperage on the 12 volt rail. For example: the 8800gts requires a power supply with at least 26A on the 12v rail. If you want to read up on power supplies head to Jonnyguru.com. In the power supply part of his forums he recomends that enhance powersupply.
I have been on cyberpowerpc
"The new age is upon us, yet the past refuses to rest in its shallow grave."
Two different video cards? What's the point of that?

Listen to what this man is saying. SLi is nothing but an expensive gimmick for all but the biggest budget systems. Once you are prepared to max out on a single video card choice (ie 8800 GTX) then consider SLi for increased performance. Otherwise the extra costs in cards, mother boards, and power supplies is not justifiable.
