I can't wait for chapter 6 to come out this will be interesting with the mobs becoming harder and the new Beast Master / Acutually reworked CH system being put in place.
I still logon now and then since I have a station pass for 2 more months was Playing EQ2 and checking into SWG or should I say the NGE. Populations on almost all servers are very weak. Heavy=100+ online, Medium=60+, Light=30+.
I used to Grind my TK on Volitors and if they the NGE'ers only new what agro really was, I hope they bring that agro range back also 
.
I plan on destroying the Rebel City near my old IMP city staying home from work because I will have great Pleasure in that final revenge, though I do miss all the pvp we had with them.
Whats funny is they are now complaining on the SoE fourm that the player populations are too low for the more intense combat, what a laugh how many times did they tell us so many where coming back.

When a server is loading it is listed as very light.
This implies to me that there is at least someone on that server, which is of course impossible if it is loading. It's because of this that I will not believe any statisics concerning server populations that anyone posts.

As for for make or break it had to be working in the first place. But if you were a CH in the old system will this be insulting or just another meh added on? Honestly i read so many the NGE is getting better ect post from devs and players that it was needed on and on..Well if the nGE is so darn great and populated why are the devs constantly taking precu elements and putting a new name on it? Or calling for server merges and housing purges?Granted im glad they are trying to put things back in, my problem is what they arent taking out..The horrid combat UI, controls, lack of skills ect..Fix that and i could attempt to log back in..I can live with low professions atm if they'd drop the level crap and build on the 9 professions they have..Adding profession system back even if its not exactly the same as it was..At least if the combat engine and the poke poke benny hill fest would exit i may want to play it again..

I pvped in a 35v35 battle yesterday, and thats small to what happens noadays.
Max I've pvped in so far is around a 70v70 , perhaps a 110 v 80 on TC.

I say make with the server merges already and put everyone on ahazi and bria. THat will give the players more people to interact with and possibly give theis game a chance at surviving.

Honestly, if you look at it, there is nothing that will 'make or break' this game. There are things that could be done to either hurt or help it, but I think, by now it should be clear that this game will fade away more so then go out in a bang.
As far as either side saying the game is low-population or high-population, neither side really bothers to post screenshots and blames the other side for not providing evidence. That's rather convenient as it allows either side to stand on a soapbox and point out the lack of evidence forthcoming without being burdened with the task of proving their view. Not long ago, I started using that 14-day free trial to see how the game was different. Here are some screenshots from 4/28 at around 11 pm or so: picasaweb.google.com/methadoneklinic/SWGCensus428
4/28 was a saturday so you would figure that might be a "high traffic" day. Read into it what you will I am sure either side can find a way that the screenshots prove their point. The screens are just me running the /who command (limited to 32 results for non- /anon players) at each starport with the exception of planets added in expansion packs. There is some overlap in the results of some cities, and you need to subtract 1 from each result for the fact it counts me each time.
In the end, past experiences aside, the game still has some neat things to it and it's an alright time-waster while waiting for another decent sci-fi MMO to come out (for those who don't play Eve). It isn't the game I played pre-CU and the old faces I used to play are gone. For many, the direction this game took is unacceptable and that is their right to voice their opinion. It's a two way street though. Those who still enjoy the game can speak their minds to. Maybe one day, both sides can speak their minds without letting the conversation devolve to "no it isn't/yes it is" status.

Please refer to my other post showing the numbers that you have requested proof of, and no this is not one of the larger servers it is in fact one of the smallest Valcyn, we may be one of the smallest servers but we are the biggest for PvPThis game is dead for many ppl, 100% of the vet comunity say's the same, only for the fanbois of SOE and SWG isnt dead.
is just one example of how that statement is wrong. Statements like that just further server to discredit your viewpoint and thus make it easier to dismiss as just being a person who hates SOE/SWG versus someone with a legitimate point. There are plenty of legitimate, factual things to complain about without making unfounded/impossible claims.

This game is dead for many ppl, 100% of the vet comunity say's the same, only for the fanbois of SOE and SWG isnt dead. Pathetic, the whole movie is 2 hours long and thats not the whole fight, i am a vet nearly 4 years, you asked for proof you got it and then it still isnt good enough.
Also logging in and typing /who doesnt work I am my 100+ guild will never show up as we have disabled that feature.
SWG is fair from dead and gets better and better with each publish, I have shown a small clip of the start of large scale PvP something you all say doesnt happen sorry the proof is there say what you like your wrong, I can back up what I say you cant enough said

Population arguments are such a waste of time. The O boards have plenty of NGE supporters who say their server population is too low to have an adequate MMO experience. Judging from the PVP video, some people have enough population to satisfy themselves. The black and white picture painting of what SWG population is now is unfounded on both sides. What I don't get, is why do current players keep coming onto the Vet refuge forum and trying to convince people here otherwise? People who post here are NOT coming back. It is hate for SOE and the current system that was implemented. If and when SOE gives back most of what was taken away, you might see people from here come back. If you are a current player, I would think you would want to aid prospective players in the Current forum and O boards instead of banging your head against a wall trying to convince us that the game is something we will enjoy. I stay out of your forum (posted once) so just stay out of ours.
