GM (RYL) is not professional, are they TEENAGERS?

THe story begins... in 1st may. First day of open beta. The enviroment is kinda bad. People are stressed and fedup as players are more than mobs.
Haha, yea rite... so gm is not replying and i shout a few to see if the gm is working. So i shout gm = nub n more just like dat.
Suddenly my screen turned blue and i immediately log out. As i log in, i found my char on a new island dat got faery lake on the map. I tried to pm all gm, still no answer.
As i walk on the island, one enemy hit me for 600++ damage n died. So i spawn... n spawned at the same location... wat is this?
A joke? So u wana show how powerful gm is? U want us not to mess wif gm? Its only a msg anyway... cant u warn? cant u msg us back?
This is from my opinion is a work from an immature No experience gm at all. Now my char cant go anywhere or level anywhere. Eventho my char lvl is not dat high... but my hard work to become the ryl king is now only a dream cuz of sumone wana show wat is like to be a gm?
All i wana say is please act and do sumthing professionally or expect to see your market to be the worst ever.

Ok... dude... I hate it punch your head 30 times.... but this is ridicuolus... this is the starting of OB we get problems like... getting owned at level 15 by a level 2 (which is pretty impossible :P) but this is still open beta and there is ALOT of stuff to do in this phase of testing... the gms are trying there best to get rid of lag and help people.. but hence... if they are too buisy ot answer... if you call him once... thats all.. I know your frustrated that the gm did not help you.. did you try to go to a town??
If its a bug.. REPORT it.... if you cant handle this game.. then leave... I'm sorry for letting all this down on you.. but it has to be said... forums are here to talk about good things in teh game.. (im not saying your not saying good things...)
If you report things like unexpected disconnects... which happens to me ALOT.. then you will be fine and giving the admins and gms the information needed to help this test in the making of this game.

Firstly, I have never tried RYL. However, both of your posts have plus and minus to each. If it is indeed true a paid or unpaid game master / game admin is pulling pranks, performing their duties in anything less than professional then Apex, you are very correct in saying that this game will not make it past its first stage of open release.
Speaking from the view point of an in game "Admin" that was released due to someone sueing the company whom I volunteered for over another admins actions (all of us were released aswell) I would see performing such an action without giving an explaination or perhaps a warning beforehand could and would create a non loyal, highly upset player base that would not pay to be harassed.
On the second persons comment I concur completely that a Beta is exactly that, a Beta. Beta is a stage meant to be quote "exploited to its fullest" to find, report, and have fixed all or as many bugs as humanely possible to ensure a successful retail game launch and if that isn't achieved again the game could be unsucessful in the gaming market as its a tough one nowadays.
Knowing the ins and outs of gaming companys both as a programmer and as a customer service rep I personally understand in great deal it requires a balance between excellent and mature people and features in any mmorpg or even a non mmorpg.
Also for Apex, I suggest you doing a who is on the domain name of RYL's web site and contact them, inform them of what has transpired (if you haven't already done so through e-mail) and see what their response is. I am not sure if RYL has a lifted NDA at the moment, but I would also reiterate that you shouldn't post anything that can violate any sort of contract you have with the developer of RYL as you could find yourself banned.

Ya know being mature and just not pushing it with this guy would be the mature thing to do. The only thing you're doing in reality is showing your age. By saying, Ohhh I think I win, etc is showing your just as immature as you're accusing him to be. That to me is redundent. Have a good one bud.

The guy/girl in question probably should have deserved some sort of warning. I wasn't there nor was anyone else who has posted here from what I can tell. I've had experience doing Admining of an MMORPG so I know that according to our guidlines, there was a pre set mandate we had to abide by and a structured set of actions that needed to be taken before banning or muting, or what have you, could transpire.

I agree with you.. there should be warnings before banning.... were you banned from the game?? Did a gm pm you?? no... he didn't say anything.... so its probably a bug that got you to that silly faery land..
Besides... why would a gm do that? his authorization is to listen to everyone and fix problems that occur with everyone.

Since I know one of the gm's in real life, let me put this into perspective. You were put onto that Island, because of the following reasons:
1) The gm's were busy fixing problems in the game and you just kept pming them talking shit.
2) GM12 said that you bypassed the swearing blocker program, which is also a no no.
3) When you were looking for a gm, GM12 said that you said some racial slurs which are also not allowed.
Pretty simple really, I hope you still play, I am going to hunt you down and I will duel you. My level 25 Assassin is ready to assass your ass.
Since i dont know who u are and any of the gm, let me give the answers to your perspective. I was put on dat island becase of :
1) Pming gm? huhu... no way... didnt know how to pm gm. So u r Wrong.
2) Bypassed the swearing blocker program? hmm... dont think so. No idea wats dat anyway.
3) Racial? Ahaks... from my post u can see if im racial or not... and its the first day of beta... why would i mess myself wif racial slurs? haha...
Yes it is pretty simple, i dont play dat game anymore (only tried for a day)... so many other goods mmorpg title out there... not even attract me the first time i saw n play it. Plus the gm r newbies n noobies... y must i play? hek...

I didnt say im pros/experienced/good/smart but this is wat happen when newbies/noobies/nerds/no experience ppl r selected to be gms.
I think i agree wif apex. There is more professional ways to solve problems in the situation like this. And i think this post is not to show or proof anything.
This is just to make sure dat other gm from other mmo's will not do the same mistake. This will not solve anything but only to show how unprofessional the gm is and bring ashame on dat game/company.
I'm enjoying this game quite some time but i think im going to get L2/FFXI this week.

lol i remember on funny thing about GMs
was a other game where some players become a GM...one GM got upset because someone pked him so he put with his mod powers, HALF from online players to jail lol...i was online that day and was wondering why so quiet so i saw jail gate and tons of ppl stuck inside lol...then other 'GMs came to release all those ppl :P
Also in that game, some other player GMs had reputation to jail ppl without decent reason if they happend to be in mood...like my wife got jailed 2 times when she didnt reply to GM under 5 seconds when she was with me.
About RYL GMs...i think they pretty fair compared to those i told about.

i agree give the GM reasonable time to responed. if the GM's in this game are trying to fix lag as jutsu said then its the first game i have seen a gm with that responsiblity. also forums arent just a place to say good things about a game, its to report bad as well, incase other ppl run into same problems. yes gms look for bugs and why theres lag then report it to the DEv, or at least thats what we did in the games i have GMed in. and yes some gm's will have a bad day and do some crazy things. if as one person said there was racial slurs or profanity then there shouldnt have been a warning. you should have been yanked to a seperate spot and told your misbehavior then to how long your punishment was for.
having been a gm in some game i know some ? take time to find an answer so we can get delayed for a period of time on one ?, some are a yes or no ? and take no time. usually just page a gm then wait around 30 mins (if theres no queue clock) then repage as i have hit wrong button and deleted a page a time or 2 by mistake. most gms have to be over 18 in any game i have gmed in. also gm ? and repeys are looked over by a senior gm in most games to see if they are following there guidelines and doing there duties. all that said there are some gm's that should never be gm's and i get upset about some off things they do also. my 2 cents worth

If the gm needs time to think and do something... then give them that.. but if someone keeps on rambling on him about the lag and start using racists comments... then it may lead to crazy stuff...

I'm sorry, but those reasons are not acceptable for the action taken. First off, if the GM is busy he should tell the person that, not just decide to teleport his character somewhere. To my understanding, the GMs teleport ability is there solely to allow them to respond to in-game glitches. Secondly, bypassing the profanities filter is absolutely necessary. You question this, right? Well, consider... Their profanities filter bleeps out words such as class or association(as they have the word ass in it), just as an example. In the last case, I agree with the part about ratial slurs, when I played the game there were numerous people doing that constantly.
Whether some action was merited or not is irrelevant. Whatever action is taken, the GMs should notify the person about what they are doing and why. Even if it were merited, however, teleporting his character to an area from which he cannot return and which he cannot handle at his level is most definitely not an appropriate response and represents an abuse of power by the GM. Especially given the lack of notification of action. Warning him, suspending him, banning him.... muting him from the global chat system... all of these are within the acceptable powers of a GM... from what I've seen both in the original post and that made by the guy who "knows" GM12, this GM overstepped his bounds.
