Best P2P(NON-GRINDING)

Looking for the best P2P NON-GRINDING MMORPG. I don't want want to play an Asian created MMORPG...as the support for English speakers, and in general...anyone other than being Asian is HORRIBLE!

I'm lookign for a North American or Britain game. Graphics need to be top notch for being P2P. I'm looking for a game I can actually play...without having to sit and do a tedious task for 4 hours...and be totally bored with it...(Runescape)

A game that gets good support...one that hasn't been taken over by "hackers" or "bots". Nothing like COD or something...I can play war games on my PS3. I can't play good fantasy or MMORPGs on it though.

If you've a suggestion of a game that might be free, and it fits my thoughts...then that's good too!

Please and thank you!

I think GW (guild wars) had the least amount of grinding of all the games i've played, especially while you get to the level cap, the quests and storyline are well thought out it plays some what more like a console RPG when your first starting, but once you find a guild it's a great game.

Ok, thanks for suggestion. I'm a litte leary of paying $20.00 or whatever it is they want without a free trial.

Any other suggestions are still welcome!

I would say WoW or maybe lotro, it seems popular and casual enough:)

Dungeons and dragons online would probably be fun for a few weeks, but you need to group alot:)

Dependant on your gameplay style/graphics taste, I would suggest you look into both WoW and Vanguard.

    I was looking at WoW. It seems like noobie central...just an upgraded version of Runescape when it comes to the communtiy. { Mod Edit }

$20.00 a month, or whatever it is doesn't seem all that bad  I guess....someone said as much as I hate to admit it...why?

Well when you have over 6 mill subscriptions you are gonna have some immature peeps, however like any game its who you know and meet in the games that make them fun. In my guild I actually have a few peeps in their 50's age wise and we play the game to have fun. I have been playing WoW for 2 years and still dont have a character at 70 yet.

For me its not max level, its how much fun I have when I am on the game, I mean thats why we pay to play these games to have a good time so why rush. Anyway, there is a free trial for WoW, check it out if its not for you well hope you find something but word of advice never judge things by what you read in forums otherwise you would never try anything.

Out of every 100 men, 10 should not be there,
80 are nothing but targets, 9 are the real fighters.
Ah, but one, ONE of them is a warrior,
and he will bring the others home.

    Defintily WoW or LOTRO.

WoW has a free trial at the moment. LOTRO doesn't. Both are excellent games

excuse me WTF  i believe he asked for a non grinding game. You suggested A) WoW  this game doesnt start until you have hit end game which believe it or not takes a while if you havent been there before. and B) Vanguard ,  Vangaurd isnt anything But a grind. Grind to level cause the quests arent worth anything. Crafting grind  because its boring and the only way to make good money.

i dont know of any games that arent a grind but THESE ARE NOT IT. He asked for no grinding not grind only games.

    Are people seriously saying WoW???

World of Warcraft is the grindiest game, Not just leveling but everything you do is a grind, And the way Blizzard is running there game now, There going to get more grindier. Maybe you would like World of Warcraft if you like Raiding dungeons, Other than that. I would say give the free trial a go and see if you like it. But be warned....

WoW is a grindfest, especially at the higher levels. I found myself wanting to play RO again after hitting level 70 in WoW.

LOTRO can be a grindfest too, but it is more of a quest grindfest.

I would like to know the answer to the OPs question. I haven't seen an answer that I agree with yet.

The topic itself is ironic already.... A non-grinding MMORPG, what you'll end up finding is that all MMORPGs consists of grinding in some sort of way, that's just the way the genre is.
  • Camman321Camman321 Member Posts: 68
It's not ironic. Learn the word ironic before you go around using it because you hear smart people using it. I've played MMORPGs that WEREN'T grinders, they just had very crappy gameplay is all.(Graphics, Customer Service)

I'm not going to download WoW...cause of what a few of you have said...which makes sense. I guess there is no great MMORPG that doesn't require you to sit for hours on end...and see your experience bar move 1 cm.

    Thanks

Probably recommended to look at Everquest 2, Lotro or WoW.

  • Carl132pCarl132p Member UncommonPosts: 538
although lotro got boring for me pretty quick  during the time i played i never once thought it felt like a grind just because i was in story instances the whole time.

Diablo 2 never felt like grinding and it was nothing but baal runs at times, I think boring combat=grinding; if your sitting there as your character attacks hitting a few buttons every minute then grinding  exists.

Age of conan and Granada Espada seem like combat would be fun since in granada you get 3x the amount of interactivity than games like WoW, and age of conan you run and dodge and aim and stuff like that.  So ya theres lots of newer games coming out look for something that looks like it would be fun even whilst grinding.
