    I think it might get pushed back a month or so yet, and also I think in Asian it's coming out a bit later than Europe and America.

    I however think the date will stick. Looking at game videos online of the gameplay and how it looks in developer diaries, it seems like 5 more months is all they should really need.

    I am very much hoping for the October 30th date to stick.  My only problem is that www.gamestop.com has the xbox360 release date as Feb 8,2008 which is a pretty specific date.  Normally their best guess dates are either the beginning or end of a month.   It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see M$ write a check to Funcom asking them to delay the PC version to the same date.  Saying that, I don't think their community could stand another delay considering the devs were shocked last September with the delay when the game was considered to be ready then.  With a whole year to polish, the PC version of the game should be about as bug free as a game could ever get.

    Let's just hope beta keys start getting released soon!

    I have no clue about the Xbox date. Personally I question why anyone would make an MMO on a console, but maybe that's just me. I'm old school with my PC. If the PC version ends up releasing on date, then Feb 8th might very well be when the Xbox version comes out, though I think I remember Funcom saying it would be a bit more than that (was thinking around April or so for the Xbox release.)

    Wouldn't the PC version need to be up and running(lotsa patches)before they conclude the royalties and such with M$

    Btw the new version of TS supports MS gamevoice.

    Oh and btw, I think they have the MS roylities worked out as AoC will be a showcase game for Windows Vista :)

    October 31st is what I have heard, it might get slightly delayed but they would be fools if they didn't release it close to christmas.

    eh, havent seen any beta stuff so either they plan for us to pay for beta *cough swg cough* or its gonna be pushed back. Either way hope they get it to an exceptable release point

    Technical beta has just started I think and don't you think that six months is enough for beta?!

    1.3 What platforms will the game be released on, and when will it come out?

    Age of Conan will first be released for the Windows PC, and the launch date is set to October 2007.

    That is straight from the faq on AgeofConan.com, it seems that their focus is on the PC version, and I remember reading an article on another site stating that they are focused on the PC release and once that is going will then focus on the Xbox 360 version.

    A friend (a friend that usually is very reliable when it comes to computer games) told me that he thought that it was decided that AoC was postponed until 2008? Has anyone heard anything similar? Hope not...

    No word on that, it's still due october 30th, eventough it's possible to have an other pushback (like WAR). I hope not :D
