DirectX 9.0 c

I cant get my pc to down load the new version  I select the I accept and then  it goes right to Finished can some one help me

    should I try and down load it some place other then the microsoft web site

    Go to Start/Run and type in DXDiag

    This will bring up the DX Diagnostic tool.  It should tell you what version of Direct X you have.  Since it's going to finished, you may have it installed.

    it still says im running version b  so if i did down load it why wont my pc show the new version is on my rig

    if u run Windows VISTA u cant use DX9.0c... u have to wait until Dx9.0L comes out
