In the JUNE issue of Computer Gaming World, Page 23, a possible new MMORPG is listed as going to be displayed at this years E3.  It's called "Auto Assault" and looks like a "Car War's" style game.  It is being developed by NCSoft and I was wondering why this game is not listed on the "Under developement" section of your site.  Following is a post directly off the NCsoft web site.

Im following this game very closely. Yesterday they launched their website: www.autoassault.com . There, you can get more info, as well as screens, walpaper, and music. I really hope this game does well, as I have been waiting for something like this for years.

You and me both!!   Ever since Car Wars came out in the mid 80's I have loved that type of genre and have been hoping they would to an mmorpg or just a good comp game!!

Now the only thing I want someone to do is a good mmorpg of Mech Warrior/Battle Tech.  But if they do that then I will never end up going outside!!!

Also thanks for the web address will be checking that out off and on between bouts of City of Hero's .

Yeah, I keep checking back, waiting for them to open their forums. I have so many questions I want to ask them, like:

How customizable are the cars? Would it be like Interstate 76, where you just pick the weapons, and it chooses the placement, or I82/Car Wars were you get to select where each individual weapon will go.

How does one level or gain EXP? I saw in one pic that a car was firing on what looked like 2 giant spiders, does this mean that we would have to run ovwer small creatures at low levels? Do we even get cars at low levels? What about stuff to do outside of your car?

At this point, we can only speculate, but its looking pretty good so far. Definately something im going to keep track of.
