While I only logged in about 3 times. I didn't like it. The combat, quests...horrible. There's no indepth description of classes in the game. It's like a Kal Online I think. While I like huge maps, I dont' like huge maps that have no reason of being huge, like DnL or Kal Online. Way too much running around, a big waste of time.
Maybe it's just for the "advanced" MMORPGer...one who can easily adapt to a new console, controls & commands...because I'll tell you, those things aren't there for the taking. Now that it's free...and with all the complaints about bugs & glitches...I can only imagine this game getting worse. It was only on my computer for less than 24 hours.
3 out of 10.

I think "Game isn't that great" qualifies as an understatement...
In fact, it may go down in history as the most glowing compliment DnL ever receives from anyone not employed by the owners.
Played Wow, D and L, AOC, GW, Eve, Rift and many more insignificant games.

Anyway, this game had potential in 2003. Also had some potential late 2005. As of early 2006, this game has been, and always will be, a gleam in the eye of some deranged sociopath.
(I still contend this whole thing was a 21st century version of the Milgram Experiment... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_experiment)
After reading that other thread I actually went back in to have a look around.
They seem to have fixed the problem with high-level mobs spawning in the noob area, and a few broken quests seem to have been fixed... but the gameplay still seems pretty average and it still totally has that feeling of being a great big empty world.
I do like the look of the new DnL website though. The old one was just tragically embarassing.
Probably gone up from a 3 to a 3.5 in my books.

I didn't ask for any, so no idea.
I suspect since they've stopped charging players any money, they'll be fairly light in that department.
But I would also infer from the new website that someone with a better business sense is in charge now.
