The good.. The bad.. (my opinion)

Just started playing and though i would share my opinions having played FFXI, CoH, CoV, WoW, GW, EQ2, and D&D:Online. Also breifly MapleStory, Vanguard, and ArchLord (and not bias toward any of them other than personal preference.) Anyway:

The good:

The atmosphere: This game actually makes me want to role play unlike other mmos. It's easy to get imersed into the world.

The combat: So far I like how it plays out for the most part. It keeps me entertained.

The storyline format: This was one of my favorite things about Guild Wars and LotR includes as well to an nice extent.

The not so good:

I feel like some of the icons and interface options could use a little spiffying up. I don't know why I guess it seems a little "mecanical"

Load screens: It's hard to go back after playing games that hardly use them. Still I don't mind "zoning" to leave an area.. the only thing that is a bummer is also having to zone in other areas in the town.. especially since you have to keep going in and out of them to talk to people for quests...

Overall though I think the good very much outweighs the bad. Certainly one of the best released MMOs in a long time. Anyway just thought I'd share some of my thoughts. I will mostlikely continue to play this after the buddy key expires.

Oh and I'm impressed with the look and I'm using the client that only has the low end graphics..

I have to ask, if you are so very tired of reading review posts of this game why on earth did you click on it (and subsequently read it)?

The title of this thread is clear.   You were not misled in any way.

The title of this thread is clear.   You were not misled in any way. good point, and a good review. About the building interiors being zoned. They did that for performance reasons, being the lesser of the 2 evils. In beta there was a lot more outdoor NPC's  but hey had to move a lot of them to help with performance. At least they are quicker than EQII's zoning.

    I miss DAoC
