    Also agree, pretty much all the mmo's at the mo are the same.  Played one, and u played them all. New one needs to come out that was as popular and addictive as wow.

    the closest you will get is in your dreams or the residu sounds you still hear in your head once in a while.......



    pre cu is gone unless SOE or LA sit down and say

    "ok lets listen to what our custumers want"



    then again the current custumers are mostly NGE pro (becuase they never played pre-cu) (emphasys on mostly)

    they think its a new feature to have creature handler or wtv they call it now.. we had that before, long time ago, nothing new there.

    There , there Terror , We and especailly I feel your pain. Celebration 4 is the next time SOE will be Publicly accessable.  I am going to call for a rally of the disenfrachised , us the SWG Vets on my very first Vblog on my Myspace account. I don't know how much help it will be but I promise that it will be highly amusing  - Love that Jestor!

    Yeah I also realized the truth. If you don't like EVE you're pretty screwed. I play StarCraft and Battlefield now. And my loved PS2. Will play Warhammer Online when it comes though. Looks sweet

    LOTRO is a good game. Not my prefered type of game. But its the best out there atm. And i enjoy the story and the communtiy.

    You can absolutly forget about soloing bosses and fellowship quests for loot. And crafted stuff is better than looted.(You need high end looted components like old SWG). Decay is slow on equipment with regular use, but if you die it takes a heavy toll on your gear.

    Very few "kids" spamming crap in the OCC channel.

    Its gonna be my MMO home for long time to come i think.

    Agreed LOTRO is a well know franchised done right , sort of like SWG  was ... before the CU...before the NGE.

    but i have hope for Bioware's upcoming MMO.

    maybe we can get a Kotor MMO.

    Ryzom is dead awful. That's my opinion of course.

    On the horizon there's AoC, Gods and Heroes, TCoS. Very exciting and unique games

    I might have missed more but I can't recall right now.

    LOTRO is OK. Not great, not bad... but just OK.

    Now about the kids part... well...

    Personally, it just wasn't for me.
