Not even 11 days ago you creating posts about what Sigil needed to do to make Vanguard a good game, before that you even said and this is a quote here "Vanguard like Lineage II and other games of their ilk are dinosaurs and need to put to rest." (Link). In your post on April 26th (Linky), which I largely agreed with by the way, you go on to give a pretty personal oppinion of what you feel the game needs to succeed going to say "Frankly, I don't care what the hardcore crowd wants...".

In your post on April 26th (Linky), which I largely agreed with by the way, you go on to give a pretty personal oppinion of what you feel the game needs to succeed going to say "Frankly, I don't care what the hardcore crowd wants...".

You're right and I stick by what I say. Vanguard "as is" needs to be put to sleep. I then went on to explain what they could do to make it better. It doesn't need to be so dang time consuming and I will continue to be critcal of the game and its development. I ahve always been critical of it. I don't not wish this game to flop I wish to see it succeed. It wasn't garnering any love with how it was so it needed changed. The changes mentioned in my post. The need to seriously relax the exp rewards and quest rewards. Fix the performance issues. Games that played like EQ where you ahd to be in a group and you had to literally live the game to progress, games like Lineage II, Vanguard (2 months ago ) are dinosaurs. They need to just die. Hopefully SOE will see this and make it easier for players to progress through the game whether that be solo or grouped and just have fun. if we must grind that is not fun.
That is how I feel and I will stick by it. Sorry.

Why am I not shocked.
Half of those who shed their blood, sweat and tears working on the game let go, but the dufus (Brad) in charge kept on to still get a salary.

Hopefully this will teach a lesson to those who blindly follow a game/developer without pointing out their mistakes.

Excuse me I don't jsut bitch about the game. I discuss it. I say what I do not like and then make suggestions on what they can do to fix it. Unlike some of you that just come in here and bitch and moan about Brad, about SOE, about Vangaurd, about this game sucks and this game is going to be dead and it is trash and whatever.
Atleast when you come in here you could discuss it and give suggestions on what you'd like to see them do. Oh wait, you can't, it is beyond you. So enjoy this forum as it becomes a infested place of nothing but you guys moaning about how Vanguard sucks. Enjoy your board.

The point I was trying to make to you, which you dissmissed to readily, is that people have (agreed, not all) read and taken your points of view into account and actually contributed to your conversations and now all your doing is going around laughing at people and saying how much you want to leave and be around people that only want it to succeed?

I kind of wish they had bought Sigil 6 months ago, maybe then I'd still be playing Vanguard instead of lauging at all the "Official Forums are teh evilz cuz lord aradune mcquaid saidz so" Vanboys.

Vanguard is still in the same state it was at launch, a few things may have been airbrushed and touched up, but the core of the game is broken.
Want to play something that resembles what Vanguard should have been, with all the hype rammed down gamers throats?

Shae if people here actually discuss and didn't flame then your point is worth noting and yes I agree we have had some decent discussions on these forums. However, as of late, MMORPG.com mods don't really seem to care what the bashers and haters are doing to this forum or they would be in here cleaning out the scum and letting us fans discuss this game in a rational manner. As you can see by the number of post by many of those that have suddenly reappeared out of nowhere(like the roaches they are) the MODs on these boards would rather have haters and bashers rather than fans of this game.
Just go through the post on this forum and all you see primarily is peopel bashing the fans of this game or the game or SOE or Sigil and do they actually contribute to the conversations - no. They just do drive by posting bashing and slamming anything related to Vanguard. I'll tell you what I'll gladly continue to post here if the MODS clean this place up. They can prove it by deleting half the BS post that have come into this forum in the past couple of days.

They would have to actually fire, or get rid of some of their own MMORPG.com associates as well. As I have seen a few MMORPG writers and etc doing the same immature behavior that the bashers do. Basically supporting the flame wars and trolls.
To me MMORPG.com has invited too many kids to be associated with their rankings and in the long run, no matter how nice their site looks they will lose their professionalism and their popularity. I for one have already started visiting elsewhere for my MMO news and it has been many topics on other boards that MMORPG is losing their touch and respect in the gaming community. The lack of forum rule enforcment is one of the major issues that will cripple MMORPG.com's future.
I believe that VG should have had a forum all along but they didn't have the manpower to moderate it with all the negativity. I've already been over there and it was a batch of people with rose colored glasses and any "bad posts" were cut. If I'm searching for a game to play I don't want to go to the main site, I want to go where people are free to post the good, the bad and the ugly. It is why FOH and F13, and MMORPG and other sites are popular. If Game "A" completely blows Gamespot might give it a 7.5 but Joe Forum guy might tell you exactly what the deal is with footnotes.
I'm sorry a few of you are offended by all the negative VG opinion but Sigil and Brad screwed up about as bad as you can possibly screw up.
These are just a few things and as you can see this is HUGE!! It's going to be a topic for months to come as jobless developers rant on blogs and more news comes forward and it doesn't hurt that most people were just calming down over the NGE, Brad leaving EQI, and EQII not being up to par when it released. Sorry but even if every "hater" left MMORPG today, others would come as this spreads.
