Story is as follows.
April 27
I had an incident when i was the object of a scamming-attempt.
It was a character not only trying to scam, but it used a spacebar-bug that makes it look like anotherone is making the attempt.
I didnt know about that bug, so i initially reported the wrong character but changed it some 20 minutes later when the truth was revealed.
The GM's responce was to ban me for 3h and i got a warning on my account.
I rose hell about this on wow-forums, but since it was on a friday night and it was a bank-holiday on monday, i had to wait until the next friday before the matter was solved and an apology was mailed to me where they stated that the warning was removed.
I did expect some reinbursement for this event, but the blizzard-policy is to not do this, eventhough it was their mistake that cost me gametime and a week of agony before this matter was solved.
May 11.
Now i am suddenly banned from the wow-forums for linking a: "maliciant, hack, trojan or cheat" on the forum.
The only things i have ever linked to is some screenshots and a link to cursegaming containing SpamSentry-addon, and that was atleast 2 weeks before my previous ban.
I have still not recieved a mail explaining what program they claim i have linked to and nothing, and i have both e-mailed them and had a short phonecall to the free-number i am supposed to call in situations like this and he assured me that they "would look into the matter and get back to me"
that was friday, now its wednesday.
My guess is that i pissed someone off during the first investigation and that person is getting revenge, and his/her friends in blizzard are covering up.
One wrongful ban is a mistake, two within two weeks isn't.
I still can read the forums and i see threads all the time about people getting wrongfully banned for weeks without hearing from a wow-official.
My advice to wow-players.
Change game, even if wow is the best game out there, your monthly fee is paying for these scumbags salary.
thats my 10c, feel free to start the flame of a TWICE wrongfully banned wow-gamer.

Haha! My friend and I have been subscribing to WoW and never had any problems with GMs or any of Blizzard employees. So does that mean that everyone should sign up for the game even if they dont like it because YOU had bad experience?
How egocentric. Now scram and stfu.

be a sport and be nicer, saying scram and stfu only makes your opinions worthless.

I only heard from guildies and online friends about strange bans, warnings and stuff.
But as you, i believed it was nothing but minor mistakes that do happen when you have 8 million subscribers worldwide.
But now, when this happened to me, these stories start to make sence.
Maybe im overreacting in saying that people should change game, but when this injustice have happened to me, why shouldn't i warn people?
and as a responce to your first sentence, "im sure there is something you're leaving out"
Im making a long story short, but that is what happened, all that is left out is the mailtraffic and links to the threads i posted in the wow-forums.
i have checked and re-checked all of my posts the last 3 months and there is no links containing anything of what i am accused of.

Well dunno about how bad thay are, when i had problems i just make a ticket and *poof* thers a GM and i tell him problem and anlways it works out^^ IMO this new ticket system is kinda ok.
Oh and i just luw those blessings from GMs when he says goodbye^^
ive never had a problem with them once at all yet...ive sent in tickets about gold sellers and stuff and ive gotten nothing but positive feedback and a GM that told me i was doing a good thing for the community by reporting Gold sellers...but with a team of GMs theres always gonna be a bad one in the bunch.
where was the point to posting this post ? ''wow isnt best game'' we know but itns not cuz u said so, ppls are not same they like different things so one game for u is crap but for othe ppls thats the greatest game ever made...
and yea dunno how ppls hawe trouble with GMs..i had like 5ticets for buggs and lot more about bots and never hand a problem..
theyre kinda ok^^ theyre nicknames is funny^^
Quoting people doesn't make you clever, in fact, it makes you all the more stupid for not bothering to read the quotes you post in the first place.
Heck, one time there was this guy who kept making new accounts to spam his rant in /say chat in the trade district. Lot's of people submitted a ticket and when the GM's showed up, they turned him into pixeldust. Afterwards we all had a nice chat with them , joking around and stuff.
annyway, i totally disagree with the OP. It's ridiculous to judge a entire game by the actions of only one staffmember.
i will also chime in saying that in 2 years I had 0 problems with gms. they are fast and reliable. answer in style and even roleplay on roleplay server.
does this mean the OP is lying? not necessarily. Blizzard has tons of GM, prolly in the thousands, a few bad apples might very well happen and even with top notch audit, it is gonna take a while for them to catch them if ever.
Gm are not robots. they are human beings. like you and me. most of them are also gamers and GMs do not come in pre-built packets, just open and *poops* a perfectly working 100% reliable gm. They have trainees for sure and those make mistakes.
Heck even veterans do mistake sometime.
does this justify them? no. but it surely does not justify the OP "leave this game NOW!" attitude either.

A friend of mine came to my defence questioning why i still havn't heard from blizzard and asking for evidence.
Now his account got permabanned from the wow-forums for "other reason"
any doubts i had regarding corrupt GM's is now gone.
Its like watching a pedophile selling a cake, it doesnt really matter how good the cake is, i wouldnt buy it for all the butter in "Småland"

"You can at any given moment be the subject of wrongful accusations and permabannings by corrupt GM's. Blizzard will not do anything about it, because you probably deserved it, and if you didn't deserve it, we'll make something up."
yup, thats what it said... (three dots marking sarcasm)

I do not find this guys story hard to believe at all, The Wow Gm's once made me delete a Character "for having a gibberish/meaningless name". It was my Priest and his name was Rx. I even mailed support and got a generic reply that Rx had no meaning, emm hello Rx is in websters it means perscription, and I wanted the name for that reason (it was a healer character).
They also made me rename another character that had a 3 word name basically saying you can not have a 3 word or title declaring name. Anything like Sir Whatever or something The something is not legal because of the THE part is self declaring, and Sir ,Lord ect. is also a self declaring title they say is not allowed(and yes it is in the TOS). The only real problem with the name rules they set is they arbitrarily inforce them. You can find at any time so many violations of these rules and they wont do squat about it as they turn a blind eye.
This is not even the reason I stopped playing Wow, I was just bored with the game. I can put up with a few bad GM's if the game is enough fun. BOC and continued constant grinds just did not appeal to me. I am hopeful they will do another MMO but I will never return to Warcraft.
I do remember a GM in Ultima that was creating Gold and selling it on Ebay, thats the worst GM story I can remember. There was also a semi-famous Baseball player in UO, and the GM's decked out his Castle with stuff other players couldnt get.
If I killed it, it must taste like chicken.
