LOTRO Buddy key help: What now?

Ok, so precisely 10 days ago I recieved a buddy key from one of my friends when he came over. He brought the game and installed it on my computer and I made an account on Turbine. After ten days of playing(more like ten AWESOME days of playing) I have reached level 19 and my subscription ended.

My question here is, when I buy the game, can I log in my account on Turbine, insert the activation key, and have the monthly fees set to my "buddy" account enabling to use the same character? I have 2 subscriptions- 1 is the beta trial that of course is destroyed, and the other is the buddy subscription.

I just want to make sure when I buy the full game, I can still use the account I used for the free trail... I REALLY don't want to start over : (

I think when you created your account for your buddy key, you did just that, created an account. So somewhere along the line you should get an option to reactivate a current account, or create a new account. You would, of course, want to reactivate your current account. I think that's how it would work, anyways.

On a side note, can I have your buddy key?

Lol well first I have to purchase the game and hope I can reactivate my buddy account so I can HOPEFULLY keep my character!

2. Open the box

3. Get the Product Key inside

4. Enter it on https://myaccount.turbine.com's home page, the site will guide you for the rest

Each key represents a subscription, for example:



Buddy-Key-xxx = Active account for 10 days

Retail-key-xxx = Active monthly(or whatever) subscription



Both of these keys exist on the same Turbine account, if you had days left on your buddy account and purchased retail, entered both keys in your Turbine account, When you log into the game it would ask what subscription you would like to use.
