How many overall?

My wife and I are picking up the game this weekend as I leave EQ2 behind me. I was wondering how many toons you are able to have overall and per server.  I am an altaholic and am hoping to try several crafting professions.

    Only five per server, so that means there are at least two classes you won't be able to have (and that's assuming you don't go crazy and use all your slots for hobbit minstrels).    The good news is that that is enough slots to have at least one of every proffesion, if you choose your vocations wisely.

    5 per server and I think there are 11 servers so technically 55 different toons you could create.
