Becomming a Dungeon Runner- if you wanna play it read this

If you want to try it all I can do is tell you how I got on!

Go to the official website as per the link on this page, you get the option to "Become a Dungeon Runner", complete a very simple form, 3 days later I got my invite.

Download is a lengthy process, during that I seem to recall something about inviting a friend. I cant find that page- but have several ppl who have now asked me to invite them- so am trying to find it again. (If your one of those ppl dont hold your breath- I havent had much time to look and wont get much time in the next weeks).

OK the game itself- You start as human male or female with a few options about your look. You can be Mage- warrior or Ranger, (Magic- Hack- or Range). Then it's off to a very small area with a couple of vendors and quest givers. Then its into the Dungeon to kill various wolves and rats. Poor equipment drops in abundance and you soon have to go back to town if you want to sell the stuff as your inventory is soon full.

The Dungeon has gates to higher lvl dungeons within it- Im at lvl 6 now and in the 3rd Dungeon- You can buy health potions in Town but the price increases the more you buy. I'm soloing and drinking HP like its my addiction. No point in using ranged weapons soloing, as the mobs of rat creatures and wolves mob you in groups upto 5 atm.

Here's the bad part In order to use and buy the better equipment- you have to "Join" and then they want a monthly subscription, this way you can take Major HP and get a bank account.

Play becomes quickly tedious and there is a certain dull inevitability about the hole thing- obviously this could change as you lvl up.

Personally I'm glad I got it free- I wont be joining!

Buy Hey you gotta try these things for yourself. out of 10 I would score it very low on content and interest- not addictive in the least!

I enjoy it for what it is. A Diablo esque game with a sense of humor and a time killer. And the $5 a month you pay to get stackable pots isnt much, I mean I could pick up change in the street and come up with $5 a month

When I first started playing this game I thought "this can't be much for free".  But it did not take long for me to get into it and start liking it. I found the game to be a fun change of pace from the "biggies" I have played, and  finally decided to pay the $5. Sure makes a big difference in the loot drops and some other things when you subscribe.  The game is one of the most colorful I have played. And the ambient sounds and music are great also. I think it is cool being able to cast a portal while inside a dungeon, warp back to town to sell your load, and then warp back to where you were inside the dungeon. It is also great not having my character tied to a particular server. You just choose a less populated server and your character will be there. Nice. Some of the quests will reward you with money and a king's coin. Collect enough king's coins and you can buy rare equipment and weapons from an npc in town. Great stuff.  Sure, there is the grind, but when you consider that you usually get 3 or more mobs at a time, the exp adds up quick. So IMHO, this little game has a lot going for it. And remember, even if you subscribe its only 5 bucks. Geesh! Lol.

Im loving it. Back in beta i was a 64 ranger. i forgot my account stuff so had to start over. but hey its not a bad little game.

I broke down and payed the 5 bucks and im glad i did. i recently found out that in july they are adding Guilds and PVP (hoping that they set up an arena or CTF PVP style.) the game has ALOT of potental.

Also. PPL need to stop hating on point and click RPG, its a different game stle just like 3d rpgs are different. both are great. just seems like some ppl lost their ways... I mean come on Look at how great Diablo2LOD is XD I give this game a 8 out of 10. and come july when they add guilds and PVP i might give it a 9 out of 10 or even a 10.

This game is a decent guild for what it is.The whole "Join" to actually get decent equipment is kinda...dumb.Me and a friend tried it and the 1st couple fo dungeons dropped Member Rares. Our equipment compared 2 it was trash even at a high lvl say

    Ex. Unique LVL 10 Armor
    10 Defence
    +5HP

    Rare Member LVL 1 Armor

    110 Defence
    +50 HP
    +50 Str

So unless your a member youll never have very good stuff...a full equiped lvl 30 would amount to a decent equiped lvl 15 member. Though the game is fun if you get a party and if your not always playing the game it will pass about 1-2 hours but if you hardcore agme i would reccomend a more in depth game

Id give it a 6/10 or 6.5 if they add guilds and take off non member i would make it a 9/10 easy.
