I leave when elves come.

Does anyone else get the feeling that 50% of games have elves in them? i am really bored of the spiky eared arogant elf dumm(cl)asses. i never bought WoW just for that reason and i prefare games that dont have elves. one of the reasons Anarchy online kept me for so long (not quit).

    I love elves and can never get enough of them.  

    Dwarves are not my thing though and why even play a human? 

    It's just sooo boring.

    Go try GE then, its f2p currently and its all humans in it..for once =)

    Or else u can try CoH / CoV or DaoC and the likes of it..no elves too lol

    I didn't knew you were forced, if a game had a elven class, to play them.

    Unfortunately for you, any mmo with a fantasy theme is likely to have elfs in it. I cant see why interacting with people who chose elf avatars.

    Unless your a hard-core roleplayer and you act like the games real and your an old, stubborn, bigot with a prejudice towards elves.

    You know like it's a joke, oh well you cant joke with this generation Y. *sighs*

    They just don't have a sense of humour or a understanding of sarcasm for that matter if its not like a pie to the face that is.

    Rascist. Elves are an very interesting race, although everyone does love them abit much. The thing that anoys me is everyone taking elf characteristics straight from LotR. I know The Witcher is gona completely re-cast them, but thats not a mmo. Even though these things annoy me you can't not like elves.

    It used to be in WOW you just picked horde and slaughtered elves and gnomes on sight.  Then came the blood elves and i can't cannibalize them.  Its just so maddening...elves elves everywhere and not one bite to eat.

    Yeah I really enjoyed killing elves in WoW, in retrospect putting elves on the horde side is likely one of the things that killed it for me.

    I'm more partial to ugly/brutal races myself.  Lots of tauren, orcs.. anything green or furry really!

    It seems that a lot of people in MMOs like to be slender and agile.   There are also a lot of people who like the Ranger style of character who is a loner that lives in the woods.  I tend to like those type of characters myself for some reason.  Perhaps I feel that type of character somewhat resembles me in real life.  Personally I don't hate any race.  I say play what you want to play.

    DAoC has elves in Hibernia realm.

      I guess it wouldn't be accurate to say i hate elves, I greatly enjoy killing them.  But I wouldn't be bother at all if I played a game with no other race but human, I only play human anyway and I don't care for other races, especially magic ones bacause i hate magic.

    DAoC has elves in Hibernia realm.

    And I am one of them. 

    It was one of the reasons that I chose Hibernia.

    Even gnomes aren't gnomes anymore.

    Take a look at World of Warcraft were the gnomes are of flesh and blood and really more like skinny hobbits. *bleach*

    I think that *real* gnomes are supposed to be beings of stone but with a will of their own and not like golems.
