free month?

When you buy the game i hear that you get a free month but do you need to buy a month before you recieve your free one?

Because my only payment method is gamecards and their not out in australia yet and im assuming they will be in 1month's time however i want the game now

I think I read on the box the first month is free.  This would be standard practise with ALL mmo games I suppose.  And yes that means you instal and instantly get 30 days free playtime.

ye it is free apprntly, but in WoW you have to buy a month before you recive your free one. Im wondering if this is also the case. If its not i can go buy it now :P

hmm?  When I bought WoW my first month was free from the start.  I never had to buy a month before I got a free one

Did you need to put in credit card details or payment method though? or they didnt ask for it for a month?

you just had to set payment to game card ( Always used those) .  It never asked for a card number unless you clicked add gamecard in the account management section again.  So yeh, blizz scwooed you good :P  but you got your three months anyway so no worries eh?

From my experience, with all games you get a free month automatically, but most (if not all) required some form of payment information upfront-they wont bill you until after that first month though.

You get the free month right off the bat.

You get it in WoW too.  Not sure where you got the "buy 30 days, get 30 free".  That was not my experience.

you still have to enter your credit card details. they just dont charge you until your free month is over.

ahh ok where it said payment method i guess i assumed and activated a card oh well didn't effect me i guess because i played for longer then the 2 months thanks for your replies guys. I go have a shower and go buy the game
