Anyways, the new trailer looks great, it looks like theyve made Bumble-Bee a Camaro, or thats just a new character completely.

Looks like its going to be a cool movie.
The effects and everything in the movie looks really awesome, but I can never take it serious. I still laugh when I see those cars transform into robots 3 times their size. I still think it feels too much like a movie for kids, no matter what they do.
One thing I love about the movie is a part of the concept tho. The concept of two grops of aliens, one to defend mankind, the other to destroy it.
Tho in my mind the concept is of course much, much cooler. I can see two fleets battling it out in orbit around eart. Massive projectiles hruled towards the surface as other spaceship use themselves to intercept them.
It continues on a story I once wrote, about mankind being a prophecised species. Another story I wrote was how 2000 years in the future never found any life in the universe, but in fact as soon as aliens see humans coming they mass suicide.
Another story I once wrote was about humanity seen trough the eyes of aliens. Now I'm trying to write something about an immensely patriotic mankind, bent on the defence of each member of their species, and how they would gladly destroy an entire planet in the process.

The idea behind the movie is good, but... really... cars changing into big robots. Robots that are as big as World Trade Center (before it's destruction) and then suddenly changing into a small Jas Gripen.

That's all written over the course of 7 years.
BTW, the Saab Gripen is built by Saab, which is held by GM.
The movie is a US production.
I'm not familiar with Transformers. Is the "story" of the movie anything like the story of the animated series?

Then again maybe marketing just did a bad job and the movie will be amazing. Who knows...
I just came up with the only name of a plane I knew. Me and planes you know, it's cheese and ice cream, lovely, but they don't really understand eachother.
