I would like to see one based off of Medievel-aged Earth, including Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa. You could start out as just an ordinary soldier(or, depending on where you're from, a slave) and eventually as you proved yourself by slaying NPCs from other nations, you could rise to become a leader. However, the chance for players to change history could open up though, since they could band together and lead rebellions against their countries, or maybe even start their own country (an equivalent to a guild).

In otherwords, make it off of Medievel Earth.

would take some immagination, but race/gang wars would be fun. and jailbreak/riot event every friday!!

I'd like to see a star trek mmorpg. I won't go into the details since there are a few threads about it already. Also a warhammer 40k mmorpg that was alot like planetside, but also had space combat and home planets ect.

but ya, an MMORPG based around a jail setting like that would be interesting... i guess it would have to be a REALLY big prison... each "gang" would act as a clan/guild...

instead of money u would use cigarettes lmao... also there would be sort of a "rep system" to distinguish the real badasses from the bitches... OHHH there could be crafting too for things like homemade shanks...

of course this would be a game heavily based around PvP...

Cool idea Hadoken. I also like the idea the Roma Victor is doing.

I would like to see more interaction with the world. Castle building (not just camping out in a castle shell with 3 NPCs), and castle sieges (not just knocking down a door, but a siege!!) Actual rewards for being a barkeep, farmer, horse breeder, etc. Wouldn't mind seeing less fantasy, and more realism in a game. Another thing I really would like to see is a medieval or fantasy setting MMORPG with real cities! Not just building shells, but huge, sprawling cities full of life and adventure. I'd like to start out as just a stablehand in a castle, and actually have enough mini adventures to spend several levels without ever leaving the town that surrounds the castle. (ratcatching, spying, running errands, maybe learning to cook, etc.)  I think that would be fun.

Like that idea and how it is so massive.... But I think you could expand that thought... For instance, you can have a dozen factions fight each other (instead of 2 like the norm) based off of location. And have different settings for the different factional areas... (sound like SOR... but make it cooler)

There could be various races that would be derived from the hero/heroine & antihero archetypes.

You could have the stereo-type, evil-tentacle race with skills consisting of different tentacle penetrations, and lush, large breasted, mini-waist anime girls with acidic secretion moves (refer to la blue girl).

The ambiance could vary from hell to modern tokyo.

Think of the possibilities. And the best part would be: Adults only! So it could also double as a sort of secret, swinger community.

well if you do your homework a little there was a game in Dev. called "La Prision" but the game has been suspended.
