Odd question (sorry): Sword Banners in your sigs, were do we get them?

I love some of the banners in a few of your signatures out there,... Krebul was one....I saw one for the Akolytes too (sp?) I think.

 

The banners with a sword and a name being spelled into the banner  and comming from a wicked looking sword-hilt.

 

Can I be pointed in the right direction for a banner such as this?  Thank you

A.) You can google banners and find a selection of premade banners on the web. However, the chances of finding one you really like by this method are slim.

B.) Find an expert at photoshop or similar image editing programs and ask him/her to make one to your taste. The banner I'm currently using was made by one of the members of our guild, the sword itself came from one of Funcom's official AoC sites. There is a thread somewhere on these boards dedicated to exactly this kind of request, I could have sworn it was stickeyed in the off topic section, but don't know where its wandered off to now. If I find it, ill post the URL for ya.

C.) You could directly steal someone elses banner by going to the properties menu after right clicking on it, but in cases like the one I am using, I'd suggest joining the guild first

I am thinking AOC is going to be my next MMORPG.  If your guild/clan is into PvP, fun, and has adults in it....I would be interested for sure

We are definitely into PvP and we do know how to have fun. We also have a minimum age 17 requirement and do not tolerate excessive immaturity.

Things I might as well get out of the way that you should know that also might or might not affect your decision:

*We have a very large member base so far, over 250, and it is still growing. Because of this unexpected growth over the last year, we've decided to put in place much stricter joining requirements once we actually get to game launch and can see how many of our registered members are still active.

*We will be joining an RP-PVP server at launch if possible.

*In spite of the above, we do not and will not ask, require, or otherwise coerce anyone to actually RP. The reason for joining such a server is simple, many of us leaders remember well Funcom's penchant for sweeping storyline events and including players and entire guilds as actors in them. Our guild leader's organization in Anarchy Online for example was included in dozens of events as one of THE primary thorns in Omnitek's side, and eventually had a set of very powerfull craftable armor named after them that is still among the best gear around.

*Devs have mentioned they will be enforcing a fairly strict naming policy on RP dedicated servers. This does mean you will have to work a little harder to find a fitting name than normal, but on the bright side means you won't have to deal with StfuUFkngMthrFkr, who I saw in another game rather recently.

*We do have a teamspeak server set up, details in the members part of the forum. We also have a more open Internet Relay Chat channel, #acolytes, on the irc.funcom.com server at port 6667. Feel free to drop by there if you have any further questions.

Same here.  I just got one of our guildies to photoshop up a sig banner for me and it turned out great.  Original art is so much better than ninja'ing someone else's signature.
