SWG was ahead of it's time before the NGE,unless they release some kind of classic server or make a new damn good Star Wars MMORPG(not a lame mmofps) Blizzard will ruin the sci-fi games now. Unless they do like that commercial "Hmmm I wonder What SOE/LA are doing?"They could afford a gamble and make a game like what we had and still with WOW sales recover if it fails. There is a complex gamer crowd that made the New York Times you know:),or just keep the philosophy "If it ain't broke don't fix it"

Im curious as to why they haven't made a classic server, even just one.
They're losing so much money and lost so much of their player database...

its never going to be ok...

pre-cu is never coming back from SOE/LA... SWGEMU maybe... but never from SOE/LA...

if anything they would make a new system again... new combat system new everything.. but chances are not so good

they say that they don't understand the code enough to rollback yet they know enough to keep taking things out and adding more

"enhancements". if they took it out, they can put it back.

maybe it's too expensive to support 2 different versions of the game? they will alienate the existin' servers even more... eventually everybody will be playin'  the "classic" servers and the NGE will have to be converted back to whatever the classic turned out to be...

that's why this will never happen....
