The first keyboard is an uber-expensive new tech-trendy programable LDC displays on every key keyboard. 



This Optimus Maximus keyboard is trying to hype itself with a countdown timer till people can purchase it through a pre-order program.  Only 400 will be made this year and another 400 available Q1 of next year.



This second keyboard is washable!



The Adesso Flexible keyboard is better suited for most of the people on the internet.  How many of you have spilled a drink or typed one handed?  Here is the keyboard for you!

My brother in law did some contract work for someone and they gave him one of those floppy keyboards. He really hates it although he said they might be useful for someone who works outside the majority of the time.  He said it didn't work well at all and he would go insane if he had to use it for any length of time.  I'm not absolutely sure it's the same brand but it looks just like the one in the link.



The Optimus Maximus, which I read about previously around here somewhere, looks very nice.  The price tag, however, is ludicrous.  There are quite a few very nice keyboards with reasonable price tags. Optimus Maximus (and I agree about the horrible name) is just sort of an epeen item and a colossal waste of money.

FYI just about ANY keyboard is washable. I've washed 500+ keyboards over the past 8-9 years. 99% of the time they keyboard works just like new afterwards. Every once in a while a keyboard would go kablooey. You just dont soak them in water, shower head, soapy sponge and let it dry in the sun for a day or 2.



PS i believe the optimus maximus keyboard is made by Rolls Royce, hence the 1500.00 price tag, go figure

Take the plastic outer casing off your keyboard. The inside looks and acts pretty much the same as that adesso keyboard...
