I agree that it is better than WoW....though (so far at least) there seems to be a lack in communication with others....I really don't see many other people on there, but that is definitely weighed out by everything else it has going for it. Glad you decided to try EQ2,  it really is a good game.  Advice though,  pick a populated server such as Najena or AB (roleplay) if you want the most interaction.

EQII is, in my opinion, the closest thing to a story-driven RPG with other players online.
