The next SWG?

I'm not familiar with the show Firefly so it wasn't the name that caught my attention but the idea that it might play like SWG pre-cu did.  I haven't seen much describing the plans for the game from the developers.  I've mainly seen the forums describing what people hope the game will be like.  Has anyone been keeping track of the game?  What are the chances that it will play a lot like pre-cu did?  Saw one rumor that Raph might be connected to it.   Still waiting impatiently to find out more about what Areae is working on.  Maybe I will have some choices to replace pre-cu. /sigh It's just taking so dang long to get a good sandbox, skill not level based, player cities, good non-combat roles game with features that encourage community rather than solo grind-festing one's way from one location to the next unless one needs to spam for a group to do a group quest hoping that the group they get is decent.
